Room very shabby, carpet disgusting, show water temp only luke warm, all staff very friendly, breakfeast very good, money needs to be spent on rooms, not value for money, and i have been staying there for 20 years, but not again.

Good location for Old Town. Excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms and pleasantly quiet even when hotel is full. Bar a little understocked, garage parking is available as an extra but plenty of free parking opposite.

Room was spacious - we had one on the corner. We found the bed very comfortable and had a great night sleep. Excellent location.Staff very welcoming and helpful. Parking on site. (charged by the night).

very convenient for the picturesque Old Town and for great shopping at Auchan hypermarket, warm and welcoming, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, late-night bar was very handy after our meal in the town

This place is handy for the old town restaurants and bars. The hotel staff are friendly and well presented all in all difficult to fault the place. After staying here 6 times now the comments sum it up

This is a very well-placed hotel - very easy to walk into the Old Town with its Cathedral, charming buildings and plentiful restaurants and bars. It is also only a 10 minute walk down to the main shopping area and Place Dalton, although a few minutes more walking back up the hill. The staff are all very helpful and charming and the rooms are perfectly adequate.

We have used this hotel on several occasions previously as it is ideally placed for access into the town (and the street of restaurants). The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. Parking is in a public car park but only across the road from the hotel with easy crossing (and free). Our only "complaint" this time was to have a minute shower room. If you are slight above average sized ask for a large bathroom!

Very small double room, only adequate for single occupancy, very disappointing. The bathroom was in urgent need of refurb and also very small. Breakfast was quite good but the bedroom coloured the overall impression of our stay. Would not stay here again, would rather go to an Ibis budget hotel just for 1 night.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, because it is so convenient, and I am also a member of Accor club. The staff are always polite and very helpful. Brekfast is always excellent. The rooms are never huge, but this time we were allocated room 317. This is surely a converted broom cupboard, even the word tiny does not do it justice. Turn it back to a broom cupboard immediately!

The Ibis Centre Cathedrale Boulogne is very well located but unfortunately the rest of the experience was very poor. The room was tiny, cramped and hot (no aircon). Over the years Ibis have done away with hand towels, mini-fridge, tea making facilities, paper tissues, a second waste bin, complimentary toiletries and yet the prices go up and up. Soon you will need to take your own bath towel.

The staff were as usual very friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was excellent However the room was a trifle cramped and the fabric of the building is showing signs of needing refurbishment soon

Perfectly situated with secured parking (£10ish) and a very comfortable bed. My only complaint is that the room was too warm even with the window open (which we left open but were woken up a couple of times during the night).

Excellent Hotel for our ferry from Calais. Comfortable beds, great breakfast and ideally placed for visiting the old town. Good free parking. Would reccomend this hotel and the town to all our friends.

Far from luxury but it has comfortable beds, excellent sound insulation (at least from traffic etc), good shower, fantastic €8 eat-as-much-as-you-can breakfast fresh pain au chocolat, croissant, madelains, meats, boiled eggs, and so on + superb wake-you-up coffee. 24 snack service, great bar. Pay for fully secure parking (limited spaces) or go for free parking across the road. 200 metres to bars and restaurants right in the heart of the old town. If you want more then pay more and go to a more upmarket hotel. If you want budget accommodation with friendly, helpful, people (more than just "Staff") then stay here. We had 2 nights and whilst it'd be tough to stay in such a limited space room for a couple of weeks it was fine for a long weekend. We'd definitely stay there again.

The room was adequate , the bathroom somewhat on the small size but ok for a one night stay . staff helpful , breakfast very good . the hotel was perfectly situated for access to the old town just what we wanted .

Hotel is standard ibis quality however they should warn you when using the free parking outside of the regular car crime and to park at your own risk as I have just found out after spending 2 hours at the local police station

It is always a great pleasure to stay in this hotel. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable, and the staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. Also it is well situated for visiting the old town and the many good restaurants there.

We have stayed here several times and never fail to be satisfied. The staff are always attentive and helpful, but the best thing about this hotel is its situation. Cross the road and you are in Old Town, probably the nicest part of Boulogne with a dozen or so restaurants within easy walking distance. If the weather is good, a walk round the walls is a must to enjoy the panoramic views.

We often stay at this hotel as it is so convenient for the Old City with the restaurants and bars close by. The rooms are okay on the smallish side but furnished with everything you need. I had indicated that I needed twin beds on the booking (or thought I had) as I have had severe back surgery, but when we got to the room it was a double, and of course in the middle of the night my husband awoke me by kicking me in the back which could have been very serious. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were welcoming and friendly - the only downside is that they have stopped supplying draught beer, and as my husband is organising a golf trip in May for 12 males and has booked this hotel for their stay, there will be a lot of disappointed men when they realise!

We've stayed at this hotel several times and have always found it to be great value for money. It is situated just outside the old city walls, within easy walking distance of its bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is simple but very clean and the breakfast was excellent - cereals, fruit, pastries, eggs, cold meats, which were quickly topped up as necessary We will definitely stay here again when we are next in the area.
