Great Ibis hotel. I use them extensively around Europe, and this is a 9 out 10'er! Updated throughout. Great friendly staff especially Miguel or Manuel. Good breakfast. Only downside is an incredibly slooooowww lift and only one of them.
High quality staff, always available, always alert and paying attention to customers, always with a smile in the face Good accommodation, perfect bed :), clean & fresh look, modern feel. A good location for moving around Porto & Vila Nova de Gaia
good hotel, great breackfast and a good plasce in Porto, direct access to the highway$ It's not our first time but allways a good adress. parking space are enought. the reception is open 24 hours and the staff is very fendly
We love it here, the staff are amazing always happy to help day or night. It's good for a few or longer I've done both with and without my kids which they are very welcoming too. Close to shops, cafe etc which is around und 5 min drive away.
The Ibis Porto Gaia is a good hotel, has the standard services and installations available in most of IBIS hotels. It has free parking, which was the key reason for me to reserve a room there. But it is not very convenient for tourists. traffic is heavy near the hotel in pick hours and there is no public transportation available nearby. I ended up moving to Ibis Porto Centro, parked the car in parking lot next to the hotel and was able to sightseeing walking, Anyway, this hotel may be appropriate for business trips.
Brand new hotel. Ibis standards fulfilled. Staff wonderful. Quiet location. Extremely beautiful landscape..all around. Gaia is near Porto and far better quiet. You can walk around Porto and come back to Gaia, to have a dinner more "price-friendly" and still tasty.. Private parking court at Ibis Porto Gaia is free for Ibis guests and this is attractuve also.
Very good experience. The only problem was the climatization system of the hotel. The ar conditioning only starts in summer. Because this in hot days we need to open the window. The breakfast was great. The meals too.
The hotel is easily accessible and has parking - always a big plus. The rooms are clean and comfortable in the Ibis style. Wifi worked well, price was reasonable, service good. In many ways Ibis punches above its weight in the value of their accommodation.
very good service. comfortable accommodation. Food and well prepared and tasty snacks. What could be improved: The doors of the rooms could be easier to open, they are very heavy. The shower faucet can cause burns if someone touches them during bath, heat up a lot. The organic garden is a good idea, they could extend the garden and even use Products in the preparation of meals and snacks, however are just a decorative item.
I have been going here for the past 7years, I go for San Pedro celebrations and to see my family I take my young children with me the staff are amazing especially manuel Dias and susanna (not sure of her last name) they have been there ever since my first visit. Nothing is ever too much weather it be help booking taxis or warming baby's milk at 3am,
my stay was excellent, the staff very kind and helpful. The facilities were fine, room clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The Ibis Porto Gaia is very easy to access using public transportation systems. Just take the Metro to Casa da Musica Station and there change to buses 902 or 903 (they stop almost in from of the hotel).
If you want to stay here, but visit Porto, this is not a good option. It's far away from a subway station and there's no close bus station. There's a mall near the Hotel, but you need to pick a Taxi to go there. If you wanna go by foot, you have to take turn around all the avenue (without side walk). The bathroom has just a half glass to prevent water go to all floor.
Room was small, but nice and cozy. Renovation on progress thus loud voices in our room, otherwise there was no other disturbances. Free parking outside. Access to the hotel a bit tricky, got a few wrong turns along the way. Overall, just a nice budget hotel on its price range.
This is a comfortable Ibis hotel situated near the A1 motorway. It is only 20 minutes from the airport and handy for Porto or Gaia (with a car). The staff were friendly and helpful. My companians did not think that the coffee was up to normal Portuguese standards.
I use this hotel often and it is consistently good with economical accommodation, friendly staff and a good location. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the new restaurant menu offers a reasonable range of low cost meals.
Excellent value and a nice location. Easy walk down to the local village and ferry to the Porto side of the River wher you can get the tram or bus so although out of Porto it is better to be away from the crowds.
Staffs were very kind and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is far from city center but no problem if you have a car and parking is free. Breakfast was really good. We liked so much to stay.
Very helpful staff, good location and as always, value for money when staying at Accor hotels! the breakfast buffet deserves a special mention for its quality and variety of food. Add to that free parking and free internet and you have yourself a hotel to look forward to rebooking.
The staff were very good, allocating us a room where we asked them to do so. Unfortunately a mysterious noise appeared from time to time which didn't let me have a 100% tranquil rest. During check-out the person in charge has said they would have tried to change us to other room if they would have known about it. Am I the only person in the history of that hotel/room who heard that irritating noise?
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, though not brought to my attention the use of Accor Club card. Both the hotel and the room was very clean. Every day clean sheets and towels waiting for us. The breakfast was perfect, fully met our needs. To reach the city center from the hotel is a little bit complicated and expensive for a tourist.
