I have been in this hotel before several times. I am a sales manager and always stay in an Ibis hotel, except if there's none close enough or if it exceeds my budget. I have the Ibis Cards. The Ibis hotel in Archamps was more than half an hour driving from my first appointment the day after but I went there as I am generally always very satisfied with the Ibis hotels. Arriving in an Ibis hotel is like coming home : the room and bed are very good, the bathroom is OK, mostly there's a parking and restaurant and the Wifi works well. It was however disappointing the see the menu card in the restaurant. There was a limited choice - the menu card was not inviting. I'm not asking to put a chef in the kitchen of the restaurant. As a sales manager, when you've arrived in the hotel, after having finished the work you still have to do, it's nice to go to the restaurant in the hotel and find tasteful dishes. Last week I was also in an Ibis in Chambéry. There the main dishes were really sad. As main courses, you had focaccia, risotto, macaroni and a fourth dish which I don't remember, so no real "inviting" food. No meat, no fish ... Few people in that restaurant and I heard one after the other asking for a salad. I go to all Ibisses in France and I love them. The french cuisine is the best in the world. Ibis can do better than what they do in some of their restaurants.

Nice and quiet hotel just outside Geneve.Good wifi and esay to connect. Breakfast also excellent with a good variety, but lacks bacon/sausages but with a very smart egg-boiler for soft-boiled eggs. Free parking behind bars.

a pleasant hotel situated near the motorway and despite it being on the edge of a major commercial area it is quiet and friendly I was however disappointed that, after driving over 600 kms., and as a LeClub Gold card member, I presented my card and was handed a voucher for a free drink at the hotel bar only to be told that my wife had to buy her own as it was for a single drink for 1 person only - - This surprised me as at every other Accor hotel I have been to EVERY member of my party have enjoyed this privilege irrelevant of numbers! The restaurant served good quality food and breakfasts were enjoyable and varied

Bad hotel with tiny , smelly rooms , staff is good but what you can do about it and on top of all its not in genva it's in France . So don't get disillusioned by the name as I did and thought but it's not this hotel is in Geneva buts it's not so if planing to use the public transport you will be in trouble .

The bathroom was in bad shape, broken sink stopper, towel hanger missing, lavatory not flushing properly. I claimed a refund and await a reply. Hotel poorly managed and According not on the ball. This is not what I expected from previous Ibis stays. Expect prompt refund as agreed by reception.

The hotel is excellent. It has a good restaurant service. The front desk staff was very helpful helping us book the parking space at ibis Grenoble. The only thing is the shower flow was very weak. They need to remodel the bathrooms. But everything else was great.

Great welcome, kind and professional management . Rooms up to standards, restaurant was good and guests should make it better by dining there because it needs encuragement ; The place was difficult to be located maybe because we were arriving from Ginevre and not even two <gps were able to locate it and we have been strolling around the beautiful surroundings for a while . Only improuvement to be done is the outside relaxation place ('chairs and tables) which might be improuved with a few euros.

Hopefully the employees were great, nice, kind, at your services ... Because the infrastructure is really old, damaged, used by time, ... Nothing acceptable for this kind of hotel ! A good revamping is inevitable !

Booked twin room online, but when Arrived there wasn't a twin room available. Room was dirty. Bathroom had wallpaper hanging off the wall. No staff to manage bar! So Ended up drinking & eating somewhere else.

This hotel is the worst Accor hotel we have ever stayed in. It is well over due for refurbishment. There was a discrepancy over our bill where until we produced a paper copy of our booking details, we were firmly told we were wrong. This transpired to be a confusion on both sides, and was rectified. The incident left us with a very negative last day of our family holiday. The lady in charge at reception can be very rude. The price is also extortionate. Avoid.

The staff on night duty was extremely caring and helpful. I felt absolutely cared for and safe. The location is great, being just off the highway on the way to and from Geneva. It's ideal. Thanks a lot.

Every member of staff we had dealings with at this hotel was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The problem is that they are working in a hotel that is in desperate need of refurbishment. Our bathroom was, quite frankly, disgusting. There was some mould on the walls and a damp patch caused by a leaky pipe. The worst was the brown gungy stuff that came up from the plughole in the bath every time the hand basin was emptied. The receptionist told me that the staff had advised Ibis of the need for refurbishment - Ibis, please listen!

We have stayed at this hotel five or six times before and always found it excellent, but this time was different, sadly. The receptionist was on the phone for at least ten minutes when we were trying to check in, and there was no-one else around to help. She did not once look up from her computer to apologise for the wait, nor did she apologise when she finally finished. She was clearly harrassed - and it showed in her lack of greeting and stony face. That's very poor customer service. The staff in the restaurant were clearly also harrassed - they had a large party to serve - but that's no excuse for being offhand and dismissive. We were given a wine which cost 20 Euros more than the one we ordered. The waitress forgot the starters and when we pointed that out (when she brought the main course) there was not a word of apology or offering to take back the main course until we had been served the starter. We decided to cut our losses and leave it. There was no checking whether our meal was OK - and the steak was actually cold - and we were left so long between courses we didn't bother with coffee. Again, very, very poor customer service. The room was unusually not clean - there was a dead fly on the bathroom floor and the wall over the bath was dirty. The bedroom itself, though, was very clean. On the plus side, the hotel is quiet and we had a good night's sleep. It's convenient for the motorway and that's why we stay there on our way to and from Italy / UK every year. Will we use it again after this? Not sure. There are other hotels nearby so we may well look for one whose staff are more well-trained in customer service.

A reasonably priced hotel, in a quiet location, but far from other restaurants etc. Sink was badly damaged - when reported the staff knew about this but did not seem interested in putting matters right. Breakfast typical continental - cold buffet and adaquate

Location is very good because of just less than 15 mins across border into Geneva. Per night rate is lower than in Geneva. If you want to save money, stay there. But, do not expect value. Rooms are old, need updating and not up to the usual Ibis standard for quality, cleanliness. Cannot say I liked it but for location it is a good choice.

The IBIS Hotel need renovation, the rooms, floors and reception are looking very used and old. Good it is they have allready new bed's in the rooms. The servcie staff is friendly and helpful. The location of the Hotel near to Geneve is verry good.

We stayed at this Ibis hotel on two occasions 4 years ago, and were satisfied. Something happened since then. Dirt not cleaned between walls and floors, bathroom sink worn and scarred, filthy telephone, sticky bathroom carpet. On the plus side is a good bed and bedding, and helpful, friendly desk clerks.

I arrived at this hotel upon completing the route to Santiago de Compostela through Switzerland. The location is ideal, just across the border at the end of Jakobsweg. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was comfortable, although it smelt of smoke. The only problem was the lack of public transport on a public holiday, but most days would probably be OK.

Chose the Ibis Archamps as it is very close to the main route through to Italy. And it is - but no noise from traffic. Excellent location The staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. The on site catering was very good and reasonably priced, just what we needed after twelve hours of driving from Surrey. One observation, hotel needs to check the closing mechanisms on the stair doors - they "bang" too loudly when left to close on their own
