It was a nice hotel overall. But just totally overpriced. It’s supoosed to be a low budget hotel and the price was crazy for the area. The location is literally in the middle of nowhere. Staff were very nice and the room was okay. Just not good value for location
Three times going up and down from reception to room door and back, until my keycard would eventually do the job - to open the door. Lift on first floor could only be called for an upward journey - for a trip down no response. They should definitely improve these annoying little issues. Moreover, breakfast not really imaginative - well the locals go for a coffee and a brioche to a street bar....
Our second stay in Ibis Milano CaGranda. Hotel is well situated near bus stop, so it is easy if you want or need to city centre. Lady in reception was very helpfull, our room spacy and clean and with bathtube. Free wifi was fast.
I always stay at this hotel because I know exactly what to expect in terms os service, structure and cleanness. I specially appreciate the kindness of people that work in the restaurant / bar. I almost always have a bag with me with a sandwich, which I ask them to keep in the refrigerator overnight.
Good Ibis hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, with restaurant and good breakfast. Garage next door. Well situated close to Metro. Noise isolation in rooms is less good, and rooms were chilly and cold because no more heating after April 15th. Good wifi
a little remote being 10 metro stops + a change from center of town ! A bit impersonal too . Also as an Accor group member I'm allowed to stay late (3pm) on day of departure but my room key stopped working at noon which was irritating. otherwise relativly cheap & cheerful as one expects an Ibis hotel to be
Very Very poor breakfasts. I must say that only sweets were available to eat. It`s better to eat in restaurants in the city. Nearby the metro station. Room was clean. No tootbrush or tootpaste in the bathroom.
Excellent location for visiting Milano. Close to the metro station that takes you within 20 minutes into the center of the town. Breakfast is below average. Room is clean and sufficient. Service is good.
Although away from the city centre, proximity of the hotel to the metro meant you were easily connected to all relevant tourist destinations in Milan. New and modern the Ca Grande was very comfortable and quiet. Especially convenient was the location of a restaurant on the premises. Would recommend this hotel as an excellent economical choice for your stay in Milan.
It was not the first time I stay in this hotel, and the lady in the bar is always very kind and attentive, always with a smile on her face. Wifi worked perfectly. The mattress of the bed was not that good, but perhaps it was only my back.
Very nice place, clean and economical. 15 min metro ride to Milan proper; nice that it was away from city center. Only complaint was no AC--window open worked well at night, but no screen, so bitten by mosquitoes in sleep. Bed comfortable.
Good Breackfast (Corroaisant, donuts, nuttela, fruits, coffe machine, toaster, juice,Cold Cuts,Yougurt) Spacious rooms and bathroom,Clean, near yo bus 42 and tram station line 5 ,and metro station ca granda M5 not too close to city center Close to central train staion (5 bus stops)
It's not close to the center, so be sure you want to walk 1h or use the metro. No wi-fi in the room, the range is small and doesn't reach every room. The breakfast needs more selection and better quality overall.
Unlike many other Ibis premises, this hotel is dirty. Dirty bathrooms and rooms. Disappointed of a brand that I use a lot for short business trips. Spider nets in room and in WC. Not to the level at all
You need to take 2 metro lines ride for Duomo and proximity. If you have a car and don't mind small rooms, would be a very nice choice!!! A typical Ibis experience, Expo inflated the prices I believe believe.
Overall the stay was good. Also 10 mins walk from Ca Granda station. But the lady on duty during the night was VERY RUDE to us during stay. She was not willing to see our face a talk. When asked about my complimentary non alcoholic drinks at 10pm she replied the restaurant will close now and no drinks will be served. Whereas it's clearly written in MENU that drinks are served 24 hours. Also she was rude and was acting strangely when asked about the choice of drinks.. Something not expected in any Ibis or accor group of hotels. Overall property is good and the location too.
Ibis has a good standard of accommodation and services. There is a ample offer for breakfasts. The hotel is relatively close to the public transport. The rooms are rather small but clean and modern furnished.
Rooms are clean...and looks goid for the 3 stars hotel...breakfeast are free and very nice....I was be with 4 friends and everbody think like me....hotel is close to the center few minutes with taxi or metro who is 100 meters from hotel...
The rooms were well decorated and spaced. Breakfast timeframe which spans about 3 1/2 hours makes sense. I also liked the fact that the hotel's location is quite close to Milano Centrale train station which is the focal point in milan
The receptionist upon checking in was not helpful, she did not know that their own cafe opens 24 hrs a day when we asked for any food available at 3pm of the day and could not even name any food places around the area.
