If you want a clean room, friendly service and a hotel close to the action, but not with the noise, then give this hotel a go! There is nearby on street parking or you can pay more to access a private car park Rooms are light and clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine We didn’t pay a lot for the room ( booked on line using a friendly website). If on a budget, this place is ideal Front desk staff friendly and bilingeral Bon!

very helpful staff at reception and in the evening ideal location next to st malo cost of this stay was good just right for what this ibis is about had a great time in st malo om Friday the 13th of October 2017

Excellent location just opposite a long, very clean beach. Service and welcome was also excellent. Parking was easy at the weekend but might be a problem during the week. Stay made so much easier since my dog was as welcome as I was!

We took our in laws on a 16 day road trip around mid and central France, we always stay at Ibis hotels as they are the only chain that we can be sure have comfort beds. My Wife suffers from leg and back pains and finds it difficult to sleep unless the beds are of a certain type. Plus the breakfasts are very good.

We had an excellent nights stay in Saint Malo, the receptionist was fantastic with no hold ups, room ready on. Arrival, clean room bathroom spotlessly clean, wifi very good, but rooms could do with aircon or fan but this did not dampen our spirits. Highly recommend place to stay....

Very comfortable and good value for money accommodation within easy walking distance of 'intra muros' the 'old' walled section of St Malo. Very friendly and efficient staff. Enclosed courtyard for cars / bikes to be parked.

Love this hotel: comfort, location, location, location. Not as cheap as it used to be, but I still go back every year. One thing. Having been a regular visitor with my family for over a decade, it would be nice if once - just once - they recognised this, in some small, simple way. 'Welcome back, Sir', or something like that. Instead it is brisk and business-like, with maybe a forced smile when they hand back my debit card. And that's it.

An enjoyable overnight stay, in an Ibis that looks over the beach and out to sea. All the Ibis basics are there - excellent bed, well-functioning bathroom and an enjoyable breakfast. The bedroom was not very big, but, I understand that the rooms that do not look over the sea are bigger - so, if the size of the room matters, you may wish to bear that in mind. We always like the sea view, though. We also managed to park, on-street, just outside the hotel.

Within walking distance of St Malo, approx. 1 mile to the centre of St Malo with lots of shops and restaurants. Over the road to the beach. Standard Ibis accommodation, secure parking available on site for a 10 Euro per night charge. Friendly receptionist.

In summary, we would prefer to assess this hotel as being good, rather than average, but it does not quite reach to standard of being very good. The facilities are too limited for that. We would describe the roomsat the Ibis Saint Malo Plage as being compact, but adequate. They were small, but comfortable, with all the amenities one would expect from an Ibis hotel. The person in the room above us seemed to walk about wearing hob nail boots, but that was our bad luck! The sea view from the room was excellent, although, unfortunately, we arrived after dark and left soon after dawn, so did not have an opportunity to properly enjoy it. Checking in on arrival was fine and check out was easy and speedy. The breakfast service was good and the dining room staff member was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for the ferry terminal, with several restaurants nearby, including an Italian almost next door, where the food was enjoyable, well prepared and served. If staying overnight in St Malo again, when on our way home from France, we are likely to go back,

all was ok, room with double bed and single. not great size but enough for few night. Very good location. Standard breakfast, If you want pay extra you can get sea view rooms Minus - missing kettle with tea and coffee in the room, Can you get that in Ibis?

The machine generated white coffee was horrible and far too weak. It spoiled the ostentation of the breakfast buffet. I would advise future guests to go out and look for a café. Otherwise hotel is beautifully situated, clean and efficient. Accessing the hotel car park requires great skill and a tight lock.

Reception was not very friendly, did not have the feeling that we were very welcome, Rook on the basement with a small window looking at a backyard wall, hotel room need some renovation (a bit old fashioned), location good if you want to walk to the old part of St. Malo city, beach also nice, but water too cold, no parking space available in the Hotel, difficult to park anywhere else as city was full.

The hotel property was clean but the rooms are small. My parents had difficulty getting to the window side of the room. The hotel is nicely situated right across from the beach but the elevator had some problems. You would call it and then you would have to hit the button again. You had to make sure you were in the elevator when you hit the floor button because the floor button acted as an immediate close the door button. The breakfast was decent but the parking while located in the back was quite tight especially for Americans who are used to more room to maneuver in and out. Also we stayed in four IBIS p brand hotels in France and for some reason they do not like refilling the soap dispenser by the sink.

Just a road to cross before walking on a beautiful and large beach Parking free around the hotel Very close to the city center and there are plenty of good fish restaurants ...Unfortunately the weather is not always sunny !

Lovely warm welcome from the receptionist who was kind enough to tolerate my dodgy French. She went out of her way to offer us some space to store our push bikes even tho we'd had no problem parking right outside. We had booked a room with a sea view and what a view! From the moment you walk in the door we were greeted by wall to wall sea and beach. Brilliant! Bed and breakfast was everything we've come to expect at Ibis with no complaints. Bathroom was huge with an enormous walk in shower and tonnes and tonnes of hot water. Lovely. We'll be going again!

We use Ibis hotels a lot, this one is fine, but more expensive than most, even Deauville centre. Although facing the sea, we had a rear facing room which was quiet and were OK with that. Reception said it was a 5 min walk to the walled city, but took more like 15.

You car parking? 15 euro a day paid and safe with hotel IF available. You will find a car park on street outside the hotel if you are patient for free. Ocean View to die for at this value. Spend the extra money if available. Service great. Super pleasant. A joy to stay at this hotel. xxxx

We always stay here before catching the ferry home in the morning. Consistently sound accommodation and attentive staff. Excellent location for visiting the walled town, across the road to the beach and obviously near to a great many high quality restaurants. Book a parking place at the hotel.

We were initially given a tiny room (number 1) which we could have tolerated for just 1 night but we were staying for 3. The room couldn't be changed for the first night but the next day our room was changed to a much bigger one (number 101). This excellent customer service is what makes me keep using Ibis hotels; staff are always helpful! The reasons why I haven't given the hotel a 5* rating; we still had to spend 1 night of our holiday in a tiny, claustrophic room, and the breakfast room is too small and crowded. Overall, an enjoyable stay so thank you to the Ibis team and thank you for changing our room.
