We stay here a lot but haven't eaten here for months as the menu seems to be the same. Otherwise we were happy with the stay, the bathroom could do with a bit of tarting up but on the whole the room & especially the bed(s) were very comfy.
excellent hotel ,easy access from the motorway.Great menu in the restaurant, and food was good quality reasonable prices although mere expensive than other Ibis that we have stayed in but the quality and choice of menu were worth the extra expense.
Liked the hotel, it’s position and the grounds. It was more expensive than others for no good reason I could see. The restaurant however was overpriced and while the food was fine, it was too expensive for the quality. Had the fondue, and sent back the cold chips, which were replaced with hot ones. The sauces were very poor, from a packet/jar and very disappointing.
Very comfortable beds. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Easy walk into town. We were there end of September for 2 nights and the out door pool was closed ( It looked like the pool was closed for a while). We were told it's due to cold weather but it was a very hot day when we arrived and was looking forward for a swim. Would have liked a kettle in the room but they filled our flask with hot water at the restaurant .
Close to Beaune and in a quiet area. We arrived a little late after a long journey so decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. A lot of the dishes expensive as was the wine, in fact too expensive to drink with food. Pleasant staff and a good outside space to have an apero. Even if you have to suffer the smokers!
Recently refurbished, very nice.. wish the restaurant would open after 10 pm as all they could offer us was a cheese/ham baguette !! We arrived at 10.10 so bread was very chewy by then.We had to wait over 40 mins for it due to misunderstanding in the kitchen
Great place to stay for us on our way to the south of France from Norway, (ferry from Oslo to Kiel). For us this is a trip from Kiel of about 1100 km. Arrived at the hotel about 9 pm. First a beer then a meal and a good nights sleep.
This hotel was an excellent choice because of the secure car parking, convenient restaurant opening hours, comfortable beds, dog friendly, and good service. It is well located in relation to the town and we set off completely refreshed in the morning.
Lovely Hotel, good location near motorway but accessible to centre ville, very pleasant evening meal. Sadly no sleep due to constant lift noise. Despite booking inadvance online we were allocated a room next to the lift shaft no 301. Shrug of the.shoulders from reception. Good hotel just avoid the rooms near the lift
Normally stay in Novotel but decided to try Ibis this time as it appeared restaurant may produce food to accompanying levels. Food was great and very good selection of wines. Consider the slight reduction in room quality is more than made up for the quality of the restaurant, after all we only sleep in the room. Will certainly be staying again when next travelling to Alpes. Bar area not overly inviting. Also on return trip I would suggest Reims (Novotel or Ibis) but either way eat in Ibis as just across the car park.
We have stayed here now several times and we always enjoy coming back. The reception is welcoming and well organised, the rooms fine, and the food in the restaurant is well presented and flavourful. What lets down this hotel is the service in the restaurant, from the cold reception from the usual female maitre d or the totally lost male one on our last visit who spent the evening wandering around pointlessly, to the waiters who are not controlled, get the orders wrong and are generally unhelpful. We had difficulty making any change from the set menu, and had to argue about our complimentary drinks. A great shame because this consistently poor service lets down the hotel - but not enough to stop us going back to the hotel again!
Easy to find hotel on the edge of the town, just off the autoroute. Plenty of free parking and small pool and nice lawn area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has terrace overlooking the pool and garden but the food was disappointing. Soggy tasteless souffle - not what you expect in France even for hotel food.
We have stayed at Ibis Beaune La Ferme Aux Vin on both our outward & inward journeys to break the long distance we have to travel for our holidays over the last 2/3 years. Ideally located, clean & comfortable rooms and a fantastic (and busy) restaurant with a great choice of wonderful food.
Thank heavens we only had to stay here for 1 night. The room was far too hot and the air conditioning was broken, only blew out warm air. We complained and someone came and looked at it but could not fix it. We asked for another room and were told they were full. We toughed it out throughout a long and hot night. Never again. The room was very tired and the attitude of the staff was off hand. We stay in a lot of different hotels and indeed many Ibis hotels and have never had such a negative attitude shown to us before.
This was an excellent overnight stay with secure car parking, a restaurant with ideal opening hours, and a comfortable bed and room. We will certainly stay there again on our next visit to Beaune, and it is recommended to other travellers.
We stayed here again & decided to eat in the restaurant, we weren't disappointed. The meal was excellent & the whole experience was great. Service as usual was top notch & the stay was most enjoyable.
As usual on our way down we stayed here, everything was just right. The staff are very friendly & the rooms are clean. Very happy staying there each time. We would definitely recommend it, there are also lots of different restaurants within walking distance if you feel you don't want to eat in.
Stopped here on the way to the Alps for Skiing. Booked it online months in advance so got the cheap deal. Hotel was clean and welcoming and beds very comfy and overall it ticked all the boxes for one night, but to be honest it was no better than the next door B&B hotel that we have used before. One gripe we had was that there was no tea or coffee in the room so had to go downstairs to the restaurant to pay for one. We didn't eat in the restaurant because it was too expensive and the breakfast in the morning was ok but nothing to write home about. Overall it was satisfactory and was fine for what wanted but next time I think we might look for something else.
Nice and friendly with well priced dinner buffet formula, fresh and plentiful. Only issue was with the bedroom being too hot and the temperature difficult to regulate. Decent breakfast and very comfortable beds.
the service was very good , the travelers less. every mornng one huge amount of groups , noisy even in the evening The snacks are very bad , the restaurant very good , the wines ( mandatory in this area ) excellents
