In general is a good hotel however there was one unaceptable incident. While I was in the room another guest open the bedroom door (which was closed and looked from the inside) and entered until she saw me lying in bed. The explanation I got in the reception was that my room was given by mistake to a new guest and therefore a card key was set to open the bedroom door. I travel 50% of my time for business and never had something like this happening to me. In the end me and my girlfriend were laughing with the awkwardness of the situation but indeed it's very bad as the situation could have been much much worse... even for a 3 starts hotel :(

A very nice hotel in the older part of the city, about 5 minutes walk from the main railway station and with tram stops a few metres up the street. If you are going to the conference centre its about a 40 minute walk, or you can go by tram. I would stay there again if ever I return to Strasbourg.

- Location is great !! Short walking distance to everywhere in town. People can reach all important points , such as Cathedral , Rohan Palace , Petite France area and even Place de la Republique. Main train station takes only 5 - 7 minutes walking. - It is new , modern hotel building and it is relatively small. Front / street side rooms could be noisy , but our room was on the back side and very silent. Good to sleep after spending long day in town. - Rooms are in Ibis standard , nothing more , nothing less , no surprise !!!! - Hotel staff are very kind and friendly. - I stay there in case when I visit Starsbourg again. No need to think too much , just book it.

I had a single room which was large enough for me but dingy and uninviting. This wasn't helped by the terrible smell coming from the bathrooms drains, the fact that the bed was only half-made, and dirty coffee cup rings on the desk. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities anywhere was very disappointing (you could buy them at the bar instead). Breakfast was great, although there were no hot menu items. But the continental buffet was extensive and tasty. A wholemeal bread option would have been nice though. For dinner one evening I ordered risotto, but was very disappointed: for €11.50 I got a microwaved bag of rice that was far from delicious. The food is so overpriced in all ACCOR hotels and apart from the breakfast, it's usually not great. The location is handy, 10 mins walk from both the train station and the cathedral/city centre. The hotel also has a luggage store, but on the whole it's very basic.

nice clean and modern room, professional and very kind staff, effective central location. no problem at all during my two days business stay. If another time in Strasbourg I will come back to this hotel.

Ideal for a quick trip around Strasbourg, and an overnight stopover. Staff quite friendly and efficient, satisfactory parking facilities, but book early. Nice breakfast, and some nice restaurants close by.

Pluses: Very clean room, excellent breakfast service, as usually in Ibis Minuses: The room was dark, with no single glass, no bottle of water, no kettle - making a tea impossible. Reception service: unequal. On the first day - unpleasant, average. Following days - excellent, most charming ladies.

A pleasant stay - the hotel is well situated near the station and close to the old town. A team stops outside the front door, had a nice stay, staff very friendly, a good breakfast with local produce quiet room and basic amenities.

Very tight rooms, even by Ibis standards Walls like paper, you could hear someone breathing. Location does not inspire security Doors to the hotel always locked, Proving the lack of security of the place

Location is the main plus, an easy walk to the main sights, and the room was both clean and quiet. The main minus was the lack of parking - no street parking anywhere near (the road outside is broadly a tram-only road) and we had to use a multi-story some way away. You won't be disappointed but you probably won't regard your stay as memorable.

Friendly front office staff, conveniently located and compact quiet hotel on the edge of the City that will suit the short stay/business traveller! Initially slightly tricky to find/use the hotel off-street parking due to tram/access restrictions on the street it is located on but once you have cracked that, it is easy....

We have frequented this hotel on several trips to Strasbourg. Traveling on bicycles, it was convenient, accommodating, clean and included a breakfast buffet that met our needs. We were able to secure of bicycles under a covered roof. The bar even provided ice cubes for our travel the following day.

very good hotel near petit france, good bed, clean room. staffs are helpful. breakfast is excellent. The price is good (63 euro for 1 night) for the quality of the hotel. The luggage storage service is useful.

Tramway was dug up outside the hotel with poor diversion signs. Once at hotel met with uninterested staff and not very welcoming. Car parking situation was not clear on the website and on arrival found you had to park in a public car park at the railway station 10 minute walk away. Room was very small and cramped one of the old style Ibis and on a very hot day, the air con was non existent. On the plus side, breakfast was very good with a very friendly girl who was very attentive replenishing continually, but too little for us to use again.

The location of the hotel is one of the main reasons why I would recommend it to anyone. It is minutes away from all the many attractions that the (beautiful) city has to offer, as well as only being minutes away from the train station. The room was not as large and over-spaced as some of the other hotels, but it was clean and had all that was needed for a quiet and comfortable stay.

Our 2 nights stay at the IBIS Strasbourg Centre Petite France was very agreable and allowed us a good visith of Strasbourg-city and the christmas markets. The situation, of the hotel , its agreable rooms, nice and helpfull personel was perfect. Very important was the disposal (on pre-reservation) of a parkingspace for our car. Another good hotel on our list of IBISHotels.

This is a pleasant IBIS just outside the center of Strasbourg. staff is very friendly. unfortunately it was not possible to park the car in the hotel garage! Breakfast was good! much choice. very nice was that the hotel offers you a doggy bag for an apple to take away!

I shall ignore the damage trying to reverse in one of the oddest car parks in France, my fault I should have got out and done a survey of the surrounding obstructions. That said €15 for a nights parking ?? Our room was too small you couldn't move,it faced the front of the building and as for some reason the main aircon was switched off it was too warm with no fresh air. We had to open the window and suffer two tram lanes outside and several bunches of unruly youths shouting throughout the night. Sadly we were pleased to leave.

Well situated for visiting the city. Clean and comfortable. A bit noisy at the front as it is near a tram intersection and tramstop. Okay breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and different types of bread.

Great location, walking distance from everything. Hotel itself is looking a bit tired, the glass shower screen only protects the sink from getting Wet!!!!! The water from the shower goes all over the floor of the bathroom. I Asked the girl at reception if they had tea/coffee facilities and was advised I could have a cup of tea for a price... We went to the local supermarket & bought a cheap kettle etc. This is one of the things I can't get used to in Europe as at home coffee/tea making facilities along with an iron & ironing board are basic provisions in hotel rooms..... Overall we enjoyed our stay.
