We stay at Ibis Milano Centro on 6th and 8th Apr’18 (check-in dates) whereas the 7th we go to spend a night in Venice. We have ever requested the hotel to keep our luggage overnight since Jan’18 but the hotel denied by given the reason of safety but could accept only before check-in and after check-out (a few hours). However, we have challenged this reason how to maintain the safety as claimed for keeping the luggage for a few hours v.s. overnight, but no answer. The hotel staff suggested us to use left luggage service at the Milano Centrale instead. This is the worst experience we have ever faced for my whole life of travel. If we know such a non-hospitality serviced mind of Ibis Milano Centro, we will not stay at this hotel.
Hotel was close to Metro which was a plus and the room with two beds was perfect for our two day stay and we used the restaurant a couple of times due to getting sick while traveling and the food was very good. Only issue we had was the internet was limited at working i.e. wouldn’t let us log in or we would be kicked out of it after a short period of time. Otherwise enjoyed our stay!
The staff at this hotel are amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The room we were was ok. The bathroom had problems: no water pressure at all (reported and solved quickly), the part underneath the shower kept falling off, and during the night and in the morning a very loud noise of water running coming from the bathroom ceiling. The restaurant (Ibis kitchen) was ok - we had the pizza but the tiramisu was the worst ever. We couldn't finish it (we sent it back). The hotel has a construction site next to it that makes it very noise in the morning.
Check in was hectic. Seemed to be overwhelmed at times. Breakfast room very hectic & crowded. The location was very close to the efficient Metro. Room was small but clean and tidy. Good staff with good communication skills.
I booked a superior room and was initially given an ordinary room with the receptionist insisting it was a superior room because the ordinary rooms had been refurbished! This is mis selling on a major scale! As i knew what a superior looked like after a major discussion I was finally given the room I had booked. This was very distressing to have to waste time and argue with people It is particularly sad because the staff in the restaurant and bar are so helpful and nice
I usually choose ibis for trusting the brand Ibis Milano center kept the same quality and the room was bigger as the normal The coffee was very good but I missed the omelet The only negative fact was the noise of the trams.
I booked a premium room which was ok but a bit annoying in the sense noisy in the early morning as you can hear trams going by, no proper place to store items, only 1 additional pillow and it was a twin room, had to ask for an additional bath towel as there was only 1. Reception gave me a water voucher which i had to collect from the bar and again was only given 1 small bottle - felt like i booked a twin room x 2 but only 1 person was accounted for.....
Good avg hotel for the price. Not bad location but breakfast and WiFi need improving. Early check in a little expensive. Staff was very helpful. WiFi was really slow and unusable at times and breakfast had no hot food at all.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The room is small but good, the Internet was not so good. The location is ok, just 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Also the center of the Milano is nearby walking. The breakfast was really nice, good coffee. Good value for price.
Cost cutting has removed mineral water, writing pad, pen or pencil, safety box, kettle, tooth brush and so on, please reconsider to give complementary mineral water or kettle and writing pad with pencil at least!
This was the first time I stayed at ibis Milano Centro and I must say I'm very happy with the service, breakfast and comfort of this hotel offers. I will definitely stay here again keep up the good work, great standard by accor hotels!
The hotel is very busy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was a disappointment. Good location for Central Station. Quite noisy at night Good location to Central Station. Room clean and bed comfortable. Good for a one night stopover only. Would not stay for any longer. Breakfast was a disappointment. Not a good experience checking in. Very busy and when I did get to one of the receptionist she took a phone call whilst checking me in and I had to wait. When I finally got to my room the key did not work.
When we arrived and tried to have a late snack, the attendant told us that the only available option was a small pizza, so we decided to have it. Bad for us, because was terrible. Apart from that, that room was pretty close to a train line, so it was really hard to sleep.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was very small and had no face+body towels. We had to ask 2 days in a row to bring us towels. We knew that Ibis do not offer bath products but even the hand soap provided, was...empty. Breakfast was average. Having stayed at Ibis hotels in London, Vienna and Krakow, this one was by far the worse.
This hotel is perfect for tourists on a budget. The room was adequate. The breakfast was more than adequate. It was amazing that they were able to feed so many tourists so efficiently. The location was great with easy access to the subway and the train station. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
CxxxGood location, excellent breakfast facilities.worth booking the luxury rooms.some problems with hot water during the day.but overall good value.close to metro train and within walking distance (45 minutes) of the city centre Quite a lot of restuarants nearby but a lot of them were African origin.I can recommend La Luna for good value and personal service. The Argentinian restaurant nearby ha Google value aperitivio.
A most comfortable bed and pillows. Spotlessly clean room and bed linen/towels/etc. Excellent WiFi. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great facility to use the bar/coffee/snacks at all hours. Room was a little small but we only slept there and were gone all day until late evening. Would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel and close to metro. Only complaint was that waiters in the restaurant wère a bit inattentive. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a menu after being seated (and then got one ourselves). Waited another 10 minutes, then had to try to attract someone's attention to place our order.
It's fine and well located near to Milano Central Station. It was our first time in a Ibis Hotel, so maybe we're expecting a bit too much. Everything was fine. Breakfast with good variety. The room was clean and with good acoustic isolation, but a bit small for our luggage and there is no power outlet close to the nightstand. The bathroom was ok with good space for shower. They have an akward policy of putting only one shower towel even tought it's a double room. I had to ask for another towel in reception. Don't know if it's a common practice of all Ibis' properties, but one of few things we really disliked.
Great staff, nice room, would recommend to other tourists. Multi-lingual staff andd a nice walk into the town centre, Room was a good size but the bed could have been slightly more comfortable. Service at bar and food was very efficient and friendly.
