When we arrived and tried to have a late snack, the attendant told us that the only available option was a small pizza, so we decided to have it. Bad for us, because was terrible. Apart from that, that room was pretty close to a train line, so it was really hard to sleep.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was very small and had no face+body towels. We had to ask 2 days in a row to bring us towels. We knew that Ibis do not offer bath products but even the hand soap provided, was...empty. Breakfast was average. Having stayed at Ibis hotels in London, Vienna and Krakow, this one was by far the worse.
This hotel is perfect for tourists on a budget. The room was adequate. The breakfast was more than adequate. It was amazing that they were able to feed so many tourists so efficiently. The location was great with easy access to the subway and the train station. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
CxxxGood location, excellent breakfast facilities.worth booking the luxury rooms.some problems with hot water during the day.but overall good value.close to metro train and within walking distance (45 minutes) of the city centre Quite a lot of restuarants nearby but a lot of them were African origin.I can recommend La Luna for good value and personal service. The Argentinian restaurant nearby ha Google value aperitivio.
A most comfortable bed and pillows. Spotlessly clean room and bed linen/towels/etc. Excellent WiFi. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great facility to use the bar/coffee/snacks at all hours. Room was a little small but we only slept there and were gone all day until late evening. Would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel and close to metro. Only complaint was that waiters in the restaurant wère a bit inattentive. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a menu after being seated (and then got one ourselves). Waited another 10 minutes, then had to try to attract someone's attention to place our order.
It's fine and well located near to Milano Central Station. It was our first time in a Ibis Hotel, so maybe we're expecting a bit too much. Everything was fine. Breakfast with good variety. The room was clean and with good acoustic isolation, but a bit small for our luggage and there is no power outlet close to the nightstand. The bathroom was ok with good space for shower. They have an akward policy of putting only one shower towel even tought it's a double room. I had to ask for another towel in reception. Don't know if it's a common practice of all Ibis' properties, but one of few things we really disliked.
Great staff, nice room, would recommend to other tourists. Multi-lingual staff andd a nice walk into the town centre, Room was a good size but the bed could have been slightly more comfortable. Service at bar and food was very efficient and friendly.
Were from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and The Front desk staff were horrible and made little effort for people who didn't speak Italian. Had to go down to the front desk every time we wanted to get into our room because our key wouldn't work. Wanted to go to the gym and they didn't tell us that we had to take another elevator to get their, then the room key wouldn't work for the door to the gym, had to make 3 trips back to the front desk. The front staff are rude and very short and do not show any interest at all in helping or asking questions. Out of 5 days someone only came in the first day and made our beds and did not change sheets or leave any toilet paper or clean towels. We had to call every day just to get one roll of toilet paper, their were three of us girls. Our sheets and room were never cleaned in the 5 days that we were their. Horrible service. The staff at the bar were very helpful and kind and also the breakfast staff were pretty good. This was a very special trip for me and my daughter and grand daughter for her 18 birthday and graduation. I totally regret choosing the Ibis Milano Centro
The room was good in size. However, there is no attention to details when it comes to the overall conditions. Liquid soap was not refilled and nearly emptied when I use it in the shower. Also you can see some dirty marks on the desk. Overall very average with service
The hotel is well located near a subway stop, making it easy to get around. Get The Last Supper tickets several months before arriving. They are difficult to get, otherwise. La Scala is easy to get tickets for and is located at Duomo subway stop.
The room was down at the heel, and vociferous . The bathroom was sad. The breakfast was fine and the restaurant was good. Parking place was tight, unholy and expensive. I am not satisfied. I' ll never return to this hotel.
Basic room but clean and comfortable apart from poorly performing air conditioner. Kept the room cooler than outside but by no means cold. Also no tea making facilities in the room 😟. Breakfast was not good. Lots of pastries and jams but limited on anything else. Milk for cereal was actually warm! The jug had obviously been out way too long - tasted disgusting and probably a risk of bacteria so didn't eat my cereal. Also the bread available was long French sticks which guests had to handle in order to cut off the required amount - not very hygienic! Breakfast was not expensive, which was just as well.
The hotel is near Republica station in Milan, just a station away or about 10 minutes walk from the Central station. The room is clean and quite big. I don't like the yellow light in the room. I like the breakfast provided especially the jam bar.
The hotel located in about 10 mins walking distance from the milano centrale railway station. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. I stayed at a triple room with my wife and my mother. I took a room without breakfast. I would prefer if the hotel has a kettle in the room so that guests could make tea if required. Also, the draining of water in the shower cubicle was too slow. There were the only two suggestions I could give the hotel Overall it was a pleasant experience.
When we choose a Ibis hotel We know what to expect for the price we pay. A basic hotel with a good location . This hotel is near corso Buenos Aires A street with lot of shops with affordable prices e metro nearby
We 2 families 4 adults 4 children stayed here for 4 nights.booked 3 rooms/night,two 3bed & one 2 bed.the family rooms are at one end of hotel and evening sun falls directly on the rooms and when we return after tour in evening the room is very hot and AC is woefully inadequate.after complaining their electrician ,who does not speak english, simply shrugs and says its all they can offer.same reaction in the front desk also.we were all sweating till midnight after that situation improved mainly because windows were open and it was a bit chilly outside.DONT EVER book family rooms here.otherwise excellent big rooms and good location.
Had a fantastic few days here, lovely clean room, crisp white bed linen and plenty fresh towels. Cannot fault anything.... great bar area, outside terrace, relaxing spaces to chill out.. all round superb value for money..
Great hotel and location, just missing a fridge and an iron, but I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a good time in Milano. Service and cleanliness was really good. Rooms were big as well
Good located near the central railway station, helpful personnel, nice canteen. Just quite old building and small room. Fare price for economy stay, nice promo program. I often choose ibis hotels when I travel to Europe.
