I booked this hotel having stayed before. This was back in 2012 and the hotel has completely changed now. The reception area is very modern but the rooms are smaller than I remember and breakfast was poor.
Chose this hotel for it's location. 10minute walk from St Pancras train station. Able to walk 25/30 minutes into West End/Oxford Street/Covent Garden etc. Quiet, clean and excellent breakfast, although tables could have been cleaned sooner.
No conventional check in arrangement so when allocated room was found to be already in use, another hunt for someone to get us an alternative was necessary. Door keys kept failing to operate causing three further returns to the lobby. Shower gel containers were empty. Sloppy performance all round
I really enjoyed my stay at Ibis London Euston St Pancras. I didn't though may the Hotel quality was great! just improve the rooms such as to provide some bathrobe, slippers and water bottle every day. I will back in this Hotel....
Hotel with new appearance. Good accommodation in the room. Great cleaning and conservation. Excellent breakfast with variety and quality. Privileged location (transport, shopping, meals). Great option for short or long stays in London.
We didn't stay for long - a late check in and an early check out to leave for the Eurostar. However, the staff that welcomed us were friendly and the room was clean and well prepared. This is what we have always come to expect from Accor and the Ibis range. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from St Pancras so perfect walking distance. The bar area downstairs was very nice and there was a live singer on; it was a shame we didn't have time to enjoy this. I think this hotel would be good for even a few days or a week stay as the rooms were a good size and there was enough room to store belongings. If we come to London for a trip in the near future, we will certainly consider staying here.
Friendly, welcoming hotel - unusual for a large chain. Very efficient check in service. Breakfast could be better, but overall this hotel offers great value. Would recommend this for business or tourism.
With Ibis you know what to expect and we were not disappointed. It is convenient for 3 mainline train stations. The rooms are adequate for a good nights sleep and the breakfast food and service of a high standard.
This hotel was situated perfectly for us. Not even a 2 minute walk from the train station (if you walk the correct way 😂, we didn't lol). Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance and hardly used the underground. Obviously helped by the great weather that weekend. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. We had a few starters as a snack to share one night. They were all taste too. Didn't see much of the staff as we were out a lot. Those we did see were all lovely too. Nice cold water is also sitting at the check in desk for everyone to help themselves. Beds were super comfy, we were gutted having to leave and go back to our own beds lol. Fab, few days away
For a budget priced hotel this is the best value that I have received in London. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best. Staff are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for most visitors. Highly recommended to family and friends.
Location was good based on proximity to train station. Lobby of hotel is inviting and food service area/bar is nice, however the rest of the hotel to include hallways leading to rooms and the rooms themselves need a face lift.
As always, an enjoyable stay with friendly and helpful staff. However, I recommend that the new reception system be scrapped and that a proper desk be reinstated. The new system is not appropriate for such a large foyer area and is effective neither for guests nor staff. Please make the breakfast more vegetarian-friendly and healthy. The bread is very good, but how about some salad, olives, ...? The room wasn't quite as clean as usual, e.g., the bedside table hadn't been wiped properly.
I've stayed at Ibis Euston many times and always rated the place highly but this time was not such a good experience. Check in at Ibis is now a hit or miss affair as no one is behind the counter and some(but not enough) staff appear to get your keys. Breakfast was disappointing as the sausages and bacon were cold. I complained and was given a refund but I'd rather have had a hot breakfast. The hotel appeared to be run by 2 gentlemen (one with a checked suit and another with a red shirt) They were excellent but constantly under pressure. So, not up to the usual Ibis standard.
We arrived tired after a traumatic journey, to be greeted at the door by a uniformed young lady. Checked in by hand held computer and given a key within seconds and in our room, all within a matter of minutes.
Having stayed here before i knew the hotel was convenient for St Pancras and Euston stations.so coming down from yorkshire to catch eurostar to Paris meant an overnight stopover for a more leisurely holiday in Alsace.
The staff welcomed us in a modern way ! They were in the lobby well deviced no need to use any desk ! I really felt more than welcome ! Thank you ! The room was ok and I had a very good sleep ! Breakfast was good !
At times the Ibis hotel at Euston is very expensive for a 3 star hotel with 3 star facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful, the check in system has changed but seems to be working well. The hotel is clean and rooms are generally quiet and comfortable.
This was the second time we stayed here. This was only for one night, but the service we received didn't differ to those staying longer. The Reception staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful, especially when my wife walked back into the foyer with a small list of needs. All of which Luca managed to sort out, bless him! The room was clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. I rarely sleep well when I'm away from home but found the bed a dream. Found this short stay a well rounded positive experience. Thank you ibis London Euston St Pancras.
A great location next to Euston Station, clean, tidy rooms. The check in was a little confusing but that only lasted a few minutes. we stayed 4 days and main downside was the breakfast time as tables very slow at getting cleared from last persons breakfast and looked unsightly .
Standard ibis - all good. Room fine restaurant for breakfast a bit hectic but good quality food. Only quibble would be insufficient lifts for the wing. Good sound proofing meant decent sleep. TV channels poor
