Good post or pre-ferry overnight stop off point in Lille with it's own secure parking (rare in Lille), at a reasonable price. Good location with local cafe's, bars & mini-market. 100m to train station, 200m to mall, 400m to Eurostar station.
I had mistakenly double booked a room at the non refundable rate. Aurora kindly sorted this for me and I was really appreciative of this as the hotel had no obligation to do this. Aurora was kind and spoke amazing English😊 All the staff were friendly , lively and nothing was too much trouble. A great breakfast and a pleasant bar area with a goon selection of wine and beer. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was also close to Lyon Part-Dieu station which was useful for our needs. Breakfast choice was to Ibis's usual good standard and the staff were all friendly.
We stayed at the Ibis Centre Gares as it is in a good position for sight seeing - plus it has underground parking! Reception staff were welcoming as were the bar staff - we went for a drink as our room wasn't quite ready - we arrived earlier than planned.
Booked it just for 1 night, Very clean room and bathroom with excellent beds and good shower. Parking lot is really too small, also be aware to book in in the hotel and not with external partner or you can be charged twice.
This is a very busy hotel but the staff did have time to be friendly and welcoming. The rooms are tiny and cramped a sparse 12" to get out of bed and the bathroom sink was smelly also the soap dispenser was too close to The hairdryer so every time you used the soap the hairdryer fell off .The breakfasts are very good with a varied selection
This hotel was my favorite on a two week business trip in Europe. Great location within 5 minutes walk of the city center, both Lille train stations, and the metro/tram hub. Small room, but had everything I needed and a very comfortable double bed for a great price. Helpful staff and an impressive breakfast spread. Would definitely stay here again if I found myself in Lille!
This was an average ibis hotel in central Lille less than ten minutes walk from Lille Flanders train station. I had a twin room, which was basic and very small and compact.. Being central was my main priority for my trip. I did not have any meals at the hotel, but I did use the bar on a couple of days, but this was again quite small accommodating about twenty people at the most .
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, 2 nights with my boyfriend the first weekend of May 2016. The weather was beautiful so when we arrived we asked for a city map at the reception and planned our days with a nice glass of French wine and beer and a platter of French cheeses etc. I have to tell that I am a frequent IBIS city trip visitor, so I am familiar with the hotel standards. The rooms are small but you only sleep there so I don't see the problem. The bathroom was very clean and renovated. No more than 5 minutes walk you are in the city center, railwaystation and huge shopping mall with a big Carrefour (supermarket). I would definitely recommend this hotel for city trips and business stays and I would come back if I visited Lille again.
Stayed there for one night in standard room. Spacious and certainly adequate for 2 persons but I was alone. Excellent breakfast and really good restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful in all the hotel. English no problem.
There are three Ibis hotels in Lille and I would thoroughly recommend Lille Ibis Central Gares. Right from the moment of check-in to check-out the staff were invariably friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. I like the new style bathroom with its modern shower. This Ibis has an excellent restaurant (IbisKitchen - IK) and the food was excellent - well cooked, well presented and very tasty. The hotel was well situated for Grand Place and the Vieux Ville. It has its own car park which given the cost of parking (€20+ per day) is excellent vfm at €10.
Great location for Lille Flanders and Lille Europe stations, also great for city centre shops and Old Lille. For us Ibis Hotels are great especially taking into account the rates charged and lack of problems.
Good location, near to train station, city and conference center. Nice persons working at the hotel, OK breakfast. Silent rooms, good beds and pillows. Price was also OK. Have no idea about resturang.
Fast check in and check out, nice staff, room average , on small side, expensive due to Braderie weekend. Only given one towel on second day, for 2 people. Unfortunately terrible smell from bathroom on arrival that stayed throughout weekend. Drains in Lille could not cope with extra people that weekend ? Great location for Braderie and a car park, 10 euros a day though. Mussels in restaurant over cooked.
The hotel was great. But do not walk around with any clothes on. As behind the hotel is an office and there are no nets. Very close to the stations and a short walk from the centre. Reasonably well priced. The only issue is a natural weather cheater outside which seems to attract the less than affluent socio demographic group of Lille.
Extremely good value for a centre of town hotel .Just a shame that beggars on every street corner ( including children as young as 4 ) are ruining a lovely city I have stayed at this hotel on 6 occasions and am quite impressed with the update -comfortable beds , very clean rooms ,and great location for access to all the main places of interest .
Very well located, all in all no comment - except that in our non-smoking room it smelled tobacco from the ventilation. Friendly staff, really nice design of the lobby. Good choice at breakfast. Very clean.
Excellent location to access train stations and city centre. Comfy rooms, nice bar area, good standard Ibis breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Bed very comfy and no external noise despite central location. Great facility of lockers in reception if your travel is later in the day after check out. Wish had known about the lockers before as the left luggage at Lille Europe train station is very expensive!
Thinking that i had choosen a low cost hotel, it is a very good hotel in agreement with the Ibis standards. My experience at Ibis Lille Centre Gare was better than tehe one at Ibis Ornane Montmartre (this one in Paris). The building is new and the clerks were more friendly with this foreigner that didint speak french.
Professional staffs and very friendly. Location of the hotel is very good: near the railway station, clean parking lots under the building and save. The breakfast (and dinner room) was not long ago refurbished en look fresh and clean + friendly staffs.
