This was only an overnight stop enroute to ferry, but the hotel was so far out of the center that it was not very helpful in seeing Old Utrecht. Reception advice 25 min walk to the old part. Even the return journey walking was more than an hour when we knew the route.
Good and predictable like Ibis always is. Room and bed are obviously good. But I felt like the super friendly staff was doing a bit of extra, for example early checking was not a problem, the moment when 3 people waited at the reception extras staff was immediately called.
Perfect for us, easy to reach by car and the citybus outside the door. Friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant. Sorry that the restaurant is closed during weekends but easy to reach the city center by the bus.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our European holiday and we loved it. The rooms were very suitable - everything you need. The services beyond the room were also great - friendly staff, great food and bar. It's located conveniently close to central station and the old city - easily accessed by bus which was very cheap and quick.
This Ibis hotel is particular comfortable with a good restraurant and bar. They also have a good selection of take away drinks and snacks. They have free parking and that's becoming less available in cities. Prices are good, the rooms are comfortable and the WiFi works well
hotel Ibis at Utrecht have very good staff, the staff is professional and ready to help, location is not quiet, roads are around hotel and have busy morning, close to walking and bike trails, city center is not too far...
We stayed for 1 night with friends from the UK. The staff were very welcoming, especially as we arrived whilst they were having lunch. Speedy checkin and after unpacking hit the bar! Clean room but the mattress was a little hard for one of our friends who is disabled. However our overall impression was a very good one. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. A great asset to your hotel.
Room was very small and clostrophbic there was no tea or coffee making facilities, no fridge and no proper waste bin also too expensive for two people for a one night stay. I would doubt if I would be booking a room there again.
Clean and modern in a superb location 30 minutes walk to centre of Utrecht - walk along an interesting canal side route into the centre. Service, cleanliness, location, rooms and bed were excellent. Free wifi.
due to many small disagreements it is not really pleasant. People from the desk were ok but for the restaurant it was really awful: time to wait to order, to receive meals, kindness... In addition the location is not very good
Staying at Ibis is always a pleasure. Ibis Utrech offers free parking witch is pretty rare. The breakfast was very good and diverse. The room was clean and the stuff was friendly. The hotel is near a bus station, for those who do not have a car. By car it is pretty close from the city center (max 10 mins).
Nice hotel, ideal for the business traveller but also for leisure, excellent public transport connections to City centre, free parking and near the highway. All the facilities you need, friendly staff.
The room was clean but small even for just one person. A group meal was booked for one evening - it took over 1.5 hours to serve us burgers and fries and the burgers weren't very good. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Very good hotel, no négartive remarks. Buffet breakfast varied with quality products. A special mention for the staff, very professional and friendly. The best among the IBIS I regularly frequent in Europe
not very well located, with a lot of noises (roads, sounds...). What is especially unpleasant is the service. You are nout recognized as a guest, as well known guest but a potentialfraudster. After having done by internet my online booling i have had to give again my identity card my bank card, but it was not finished! After having given my pin for my bank cared i had had to sign the ticket. And again when it was for the dinner and the breakfast. For any relation with the staff it was really a pain. Forget this hotel as I
My initial review of this hotel was 4 starts. That was when I completed it last week, and could remember the ease of checking in, the friendliness of the staff and the comfortable bed. This week I have had 6 reminders to leave feedback on TripAdvisor, so the hotel loses a star
My previous stay here was not so good: I have had a dirty room and nobody helped me with it. I even hadn't a "sorry" from the crew if not after promping for it throught the Accorhotels guests service. This time everything went smooth, except that I had to wait for the checkin because the receptionist was busy with typing an email or something. Anyway, I can't complain this time...
Just like other Ibis hotels - fair 3 star hotel, good for a short economy stay. Clean, everything's working as supposed to work. Little extras like a free drink in the bar or fast check-in/out services make Ibis even a little better then one expects. Only the breakfast is alway confusing (since a bit more ecinomy-style than the hotel in general) but fortunately it's optional.
Great hotel, good facilities, easy access from carpark and by public transport. Room was clean and tidy. Extra blinds on windows gave a better black out for sleeping. Bar and restaurant served good food quickly and very tasty!
Well, we stayed here two nights. A thursday night and a sunday night. Aside that the first night the tv didn't work, but we realized that at midnight and we didn't want call the reception, the room was good. Anyway there is a big noise from scooters but I mean... that's not hotel fault. On sunday instead we checked in just after noon and the room wasn't ready, the hotel manager apologized and let us leave our luggages in a conference room. They had issues with cleaning service, they said. Ok, but when we came back at 17 still no room, and what it was worse the receptionist would make us pay again. Luckily I prepaid the room, but not the city tax. This last thing disappointed me so much. What was more, the room that was given us was totally dusty and it seemed not cleaned since a month: shampoos were almost finished, toilet paper too, there were strange "milky" spots on the parquet. But I didn't call the reception because there was someone who would even make us pay again for the stay, so... Well, I can't believe that.
