Nice hotel in the inner city of Liege. Close to all major sughtseeing spots. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Nice bars and restaurants directly in front of the hotels. Good breakfast. Opera directly next to the hotel.

hotel was very nice, friendly and very helpful staff, room a little small especially fro storing a bike, but newly renovated and was nice and adequate. Breakfast is worth having. Public car park directly underneath the hotel was ideally positioned for access to the hotel. would recommend staying in this hotel.

I recently stayed four nights at Ibis Liege Centre Opera and noted several improvements. The most important, it seems to me, is an increased respect for clients from staff up to management level. I received prompt attention from the Reception when I expressed dissatisfaction about the way the parking pricing operates for Ibis clients using the parking more than 24 hours. The Director visited me on this matter and we reached a satisfactory agreement. This is a marked improvement compared to the past.

Spent 6 nights for business. Location is very central and handy. The service was excellent. Very good choice and quality for breakfast. However, the hotel is old and should be revamped. Comfortable beds though.

One night in Liege for business trip. Localisation is good and a parking is available for 10€. But the hotel needs a good renovation. Wifi was not working in my room. Mr AccorHotel, please do something

The hotel is well located, however, after midnight we could not enter through the parking directly to the hotel on the first day. On the second day, an automated message in French told something to us, and we guessed that we should show the hotel key, which worked. We had no instructions from the desk and there were no instructions written, therefore, the parking service is not good when it is late (and you need to use the direct entrance). The other aspects are fair.

This hotel, in which I stayed several times, is far from being new but it is attractively priced, is located in the very heart of Liege and has a garage with 24 hours security monitoring. There is however a problem with customer service. All costs for my stay had been paid before I arrived but I was told that, for that reason, I had first to make a deposit of EUR 50.00 to be allowed to telephone from my room. I declined. I then visited the reception and talked to a student (trainee). She told me that she would talk to the manager, what she did. She came back and told me that calling from the reception would be free and that the manager required a EUR 25,00 deposit (credit card reservation). I accepted this offer. Still, I believe that there is something intrinsically wrong for a company to be paid early for hotels to be used in Switzerland and Belgium and then to deny the same client access to the telephone in his room without a prior deposit. I have a silver club Accor membership but it clearly does not give me any credit in the sense of any trust, even for a telephone call... This is a great pity. Also, in the specific situation I faced, a trainee had a better sense of customer service than a full staff, which is probably the most important conclusion.

The IBIS Liege is a modern property, well run and friendly staff. I booked in late after delays due to torrential weather en route, but all was well and they had noted my request for a quiet room. The building is tied to the Opera, special price on parking, Good suggestions for ocal Liegeois restaurant.

room is IBIS standard, bathroom is a bit oldish.. Very central placement in middle of Liege and just beside the Opera, the parking just beside has a special price of 10 Euro with a stamp of the hotel, please have cash. The personnel has a Belgium charm, they don't know much about Accor applications and others.. The mid centre placement is the plus of this hotel!

Ideal base from which to explore Liege, within walking distance of most places of interest. Rooms are comfortable albeit relatively basic. However, they are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is expensive for what is available but not excessively so.

Whilst the location was central, the area felt unsafe. We were accosted by beggars. The hotel fell below our expectations, especially in the problems of toilet flushing! We subsequently stayed in an excellent Ibis in Antwerp.

Liege is better than I thought. Hotel is next to the Opera and only a few yards from eating and shopping. Nice to get a discount on car parking which otherwise could be quite high. Hotel accommodation and facilities good value for money.

Clean, modern rooms in great location. Within easy walking distance of many points of interest and clubs, restaurants, etc. very close to town square where all sorts of events occur.. Quite a distance from main railway station but close to a smaller one just up the hill so check your route if you are doing a walking tour and use the smaller station if your train stops there.

Stayed here for weekend. Had booked 3 nights prepaid but didn't arrive until second night due to work to find that room had been cancelled. Nothing on booking form said so, but I was told that I should have gone to the website to look at small print. Fortunately they had a room, but they still charged me extra. Other than that, hotel was fine although rooms very stuffy with no visible aircon

Chose this hotel last minute and very happy with our choice. It was a shame we never had time to explore but were passing through. Our family room was great value for money, basic but clean. Would certainly stay again.

Bit dated in parts, but otherwise definitely central for the town centre. Staff helpful, and shopping car parking relatively reasonable for 24hrs, with access direct into the hotel. Room was long and thin in places which was a bit odd, but otherwise fine and personally I had no need to swing a cat on this occasion!

The carpets really need to be cleaned, the rest was just average. Fairly small room. The staff were helpful if you asked a question but not service oriented. I didn't have breakfast this time but it is buffet style and it offers variety.

Fantastic location, very close to city main square and shopping area. Car parking nearby. A lot of good places to eat near the hotel.Great value for money, except for breakfast that seems too me very expensive.

There was a huge stain on the rug at the entrance to our room--dark and spread-----it was warm, but it was not possible to focus the fan on us in the bed---there was part of a wall in the way--- No drinking cup in the room----not even plastic There was a drunk man sleeping on the sofa across from the reception desk at then entrance to the hotel---later, when we again came into the hotel, he was drinking a beer while leaning on the wall on the side of the entry sofa However, the bed was great

Stayed here for one night whilst touring. Nice central location, but unfortunately we had to park the car in a more expensive car park as there had been a fire in the hotel's car park a couple of days earlier, and it was closed. Didn't eat in the hotel as plenty of restaurants and snack bars around. Helpful staff. Thank you Ibis. Frances & Philip Mitchell
