Another small Ibis hotel room - time to go for larger, more expensive properties from the Accor group or someone else! Nice staff, clean room, pleasant decor, however way too small. Beds also too small even for average size North Americans. Nowhere to put anything! Air conditioning was "standard" throughout the hotel - in other words you cannot set your own room to what you would like. We left the window open to get fresh air but in wafted smoke from someone leaning out their window in this smoke-free environment. We could hear folks coughing in adjoining rooms.
We would recommend this hotels to fellow travellers looking for an affordable and friendly place to stay before catching a flight from Roissy airport. Hotel staff was particularly friendly and breakfast was very good. Beds are particularly comfortable and we did not suffer from the noise outside. Our only criticism: tge lack of cheap dinner options for dinner.
I made a reservation for IBIS Styles CDG - Well how did I know that there are two IBIS Styles and actually an IBIS Hotels are CDG. I thought I was making a reservation for the IBIS at CDG (Rossipole) - well this is not where this reservation was at all. It was at the airport somewhere, but I had to take shuttle bus to get there. The IBIS hotels need to make a complete distinction between all of these hotels - not just say IBIS - CDG. I ended up booking the IBIS Rossipole because I didn't want to chance taking a shuttle first thing in the morning. The girls at the front desk says - "This happens constantly!" Well if it happens constantly maybe IBIS should do something about it. Make it very clear where these hotels are located at CDG. The IBIS and one of the IBIS Styles is within walking distance of the airport - the other is not. I don't like throwing my money away and that is what I did - I ended up booking another hotel room and lost the money for the first one. This is ridiculous especially when the front desk personnel knows there is a problem!
On arrival at the hotel, we were informed there were no family rooms, despite our booking clearly saying that we had reserved a family room. I asked why no one had bothered to inform us so we could then make a choice of whether to stay here or book elsewhere, and was informed by a surly member of staff that we could book elsewhere. There was no thought behind explaining why our booking wasn't available as it should have been, and the staff on the front desk clearly couldn't care less about it.
The rooms are small, minimal and very clean, the staff friendly, the airport shuttle is convenient but the best thing is the fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast ! I would stay again just for that.
OK. airport hotel, but it,s not possible to switch of the aircondition in the room only adjust temp. The ac is blowing strong and gives you poor sleep quality. OK. restaurant with a good buffet or a la cart. Good parking outside.4
Check in went fine, not too personal, but I guess expectable for a busy airport hotel. No welcome drink voucher received. Room was fine, ok size, comfortable bed and the TV was of adequate size. Breakfast was not a good experience and neither was the food.
Friendly and convenient with free shuttle to airport and train station exactly what we needed for this trip. Helpful with hints on time and schedules to arrive with plenty of time and have breakfast before leaving
Great location close to CDG airport with private parking, welcoming and supportive staff, quiet and comfortable rooms, just as expected and a large international breakfast choice - overall a good value for money for a business trip
The hotel has a decent restaurant for dinner and breakfast included in price of the room. The rooms are okay but bit tired looking. Staff was helpful when asked questions in English. Easy but long (about 30 min) transfer from Terminals 1 and 2 via the black bus. Terminal 3 requires an extra ride on the airport train. Not fun when you're dragging heavy suitcases. Took a cab to get back to the airport which cost about $30.
Easy access, well located for both CDG and Le Bourget. Own, closed parking is a plus, however not for free... Rooms are what one can expect from an IBIS - not the higher standard I had before at Belgian and German IBIS Styles. 2 busloads of tourists turned the B'fast area onto a war zone, but staff kept calm and tried to clean quick and re-provide food to the buffet. B'fast choices are limited.
I was given a room that was not cleaned, then one next to the elevator, but I held out for a later check in and got a good room. The breakfast was nice, bar for a drink was convenient, and easy walk to good restaurants down the street.
The name of this hotel is deceptive (reclame trompant). "CDG" implies it is at the airport but this is not the case. This borders on fraud. I thought I had booked the other Ibis Styles that is actually at Termnal 3. The names are too similar. The Black Line shuttle is not reliable ad is sometimes full. On arrival in France I waited half an hour for he shuttle and then it took 1/2 an hour to reach the hotel. This added 1 hour to my trip - I was tired enough after 25 continuous hours of international travel, without this gratuitous extra 1 hour. The room was quite OK but over-priced given the inconvenient location. The soap dispenser required a lot of hand pressure to obtain any soap. An elderly person, or someone with arthritis, would be unable to get any soap.
If you have a flight out of CDG this is just fine. Nothing special. Beware morning bus to CDG starts at 5:00am. The restaurant is very expensive imagine 17.00€ for a hamburger or 25.00€ for the buffet. Breakfast buffet if included is good. But starts at 6:00 am. Rooms could have been cleaner.
Hotel is nice if you do a business trip by car to nothern part of Paris. Easy to access from highway and you have several different restaurants around. There is also a tranfer bus to the airport available.
Very convenient to CDG airport. Some staff appear poorly trained - eg one desk clerk had 5 goes at activating the room key and one bar staff member (male)m had a very poor attitude yet other staff were as friendly and efficient as the others were bad
Great reasonable price. Best beds in europe! Lovely new rooms with glorious showers. Staff were really friendly and helpful regarding any of our queries. Just right before or after a long flight. Thank-you xx
Very adequate facilities for a 'cheaper' overnight stay before catching a flight. I've stayed here twice and the reception and restaurant staff have been helpful and efficient and I specially commend the restaurant quality. For first time visitors, it would help if booking confirmations explained how to get to the hotel from the railway station - a bit confusing otherwise.
Internet does not work on the room. Internet very slow in the lobby. TV does not worl on the room. Poor room, Poor bathroom. Very expensive hotel for the quality offered. The only positive point is the location.
I had reserved a room for 1 person and a room for 2 persons. The single room was fine. But the 2 person room had 3 beds jammed in and we had to go to the second room and it also had 3 beds. Room service finally came and removed the third (rollaway) bed. Just a bit annoying.
