We stayed in the hotel Ibis Paris Maine Montparnasse just for 1 night but could fully enjoy our stay in the hotel. There was no noise in the rooms and the beds were very comfortable. We were met at the reception very kindly and all our stay was pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and includes big choice of the food (croissants, cheese, ham, bread, eggs, musli, fruits, etc). We could store our luggage after check-out in a special secured room - this was very convinient for us, as we were leaving the Paris late in the evening. For the next visits in Paris we would be happy to stay in this hotel!

stayed only one night, small room, good breakfast for the price, quiet and safe area, close to metro and RER B Denfert-Rochereau, no hand towel, very welcoming staff, excellent bedding with extra pillows

If you want to stay on Paris at a brand new hotel, 5 minutes from subway, good and variety breakfast, near restaurants and food markets, good neighborhood, without spending too much, this is certainly a good option.

Excellent service, friendly staff, very efficient. Really quiet at night. Close to a lot of metro lines and about 1h walk from anything interesting on the river. The room had only one power plug in the room which I think is a bit off if you have a laptop and a phone to charge.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful. However, the location was not such convenient - about 15 minutes walk from Gare de Montparnasse or 8-10 minutes from the closest underground station. If you have heavy bags to carry, this is an issue to consider. Meanwhile, the hotel equipped with no water heater or any coffee/tea facility. I am not sure whether it is a standard in Europe.

Very poor room, without place to put the clothes and even the lugage... The AC was very badly oriented: direct to the bed. Well located at least... But, in general: was not good for the price we payed.

Fine value for money, clean and comfortable but it is a good 15 to 20 minute walk from the train station. My daughter knows quite a bit of French, so we were able to manage but I do think that the staff know some basic English enough to be able to help a foreigner. For the most part, staff were smiling. Take the Maine avenue to get to the hotel because it is a lot straighter and wide sidewalks better suited to walking with luggage. The hotel is located at the bottom end of Rue de Chalet so the distance is not much greater.

Room very good, clean and pleasant. Very good Breakfast. No fridge and Very slow internet. Hotel is very well located with access to the Paris Metro. New tv with access to good programming. We recommend this hotel to stay in Paris.

The room was very small, but we were always kindly treated, even though we don't speak ant french. The hotel was localized in a safe region, we used to be back late in the night and never had any problem.

We were in Paris for 10 days and enjoyed the city and location of the hotel. Many places to pick from for dinner and very nice people in the area of the hotel. Ibis has amazing hotels that are nice at which I have stayed in many across Europe. Sadly I felt I had to write my first ever poor review because of the staff and the hotel being way to warm even with windows open 24 hours per day. Now the down side of the hotel. First if its going to be warm in Paris make sure they have there AC turned on at this Hotel. We did request to have our room AC turned on when it was 86F/30C outside but was told "We cant just turn on one room for one couple" which made nights very long and very hot! To help we had to sleep with our hotel room door OPEN which didn't make us feel safe; as we spent most nights lying in our own sweet. They also have signs in the hotel saying there bar/drink area is open 24 hours per day, but found out this isn't true. Tried getting just some Hot water at 8:30PM for a cup of coffee in our room and yelled at because there was only two guest in the hotel and he shouldn't have to cleanup for one guess. I do understand people have bad days, but don't take it out on your clients!!! At the end after and only after I insisted I got our two cups of hot water. Over all we only found one person at the front desk to be helpful about anything. We will NOT be staying at this hotel location AGAIN!! However I will still stay at other trusted Ibis hotels but not this one.

Close to many metro stations, restaurants and shopping nearby. There is not a big variety for breakfast & the bar is expensive. We were able to park our motorcycle safely in the underground car park. Would stay there again.

I've stayed in Ibis hotels in several countries and I like the fact that they are cheap and have a standard quality everywhere (very simple design, small rooms but they are always well cleaned and everything works ok). This hotel was well located in Paris with good metro connections, it was calm, had free wi-fi and nice staff members. The only minus points were that there was only one plug in the room and the only trash can was in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel for those who appreciate standard quality and who don't wish to encounter any surprises (good or bad) when it comes to accommodation!

Rooms are very small, but it is okay for being in Paris. However, the very bad experience is with the reception staff. On the first day we arrived, they gave us a very small room on the top floor with small window. We came to the reception and asked to change another room. They refused our request because of "the hotel is fully booked". However, there are still guests not checked in and why should we stay in such a small and stuff air room? we told the reception staff (a old man with not friendly face) so. He insisted it is not possible to change the room, and after about 5 minutes argument, finally, he agreed to change us another room. The staff is quite rude and not patient to answer our questions- I think because we are not Paris enough?! but we pay for what you live on, please show some respects!

ATTENTION!!! I've booked 4 nights at this hotel last month and we're very disappointed... our values (I.D. cards, passports, credit cards, cash money) was STOLEN from our room (266) in the last morning. The attitude of manager and his employees was awful. From my point of view was someone from interior or the staff were knew what is happened in the hotel. Is not possible to go for breakfast and in about 20-30 minutes, somebody enter in our room, (266 ), which was situated at the last floor, 6, and robed our stuff.

Walking distance to Pernety metro station. Have supermarket, bar and restaurants nearby. Small room with basic furnitures and bedding. Very limited space for luggage. Good shower head with strong water flow. Recommended for young traveller.

Good value for money with Ibis. I'm personally a bit disappointed that they no longer have coffee and tea in their bedrooms. This hotel had a good breakfast with great coffee. Very clean and quiet with comfy pillows.

Intramuros real estate in Paris is very expensive. This was a reasonably priced hotel conveniently located close to Gare Montparnasse. Clean and quiet. Small but effecient rooms. OK breakfast, but no extras.

Very clean rooms and friendly employees. Rooms are small and (despite it says Montparnasse) it is about 1km walk to Montparnasse, but considering the price vs. quality balance, it was a good choice. Bus Nr 28 passes close to the hotel and follows a good route including Champs Elysees.

The hotel staff is excellent! They feel you very good on your stay... The localization is wonderful! There are lot of options of public transport and there are many restaurants around the hotel.... The brakfast is very good. There is no noise to disturb your sleeping.

Located in Montparnasse in a charming neighbourhood with restaurants/bistros, grocery- and wine store nearby with a Metro approx 400 meters walk with access to all view points in Paris. Of all highlight spots you can also follow in Woody Allen`s fotsteps to discover the neighbourhood of 1920´s famous writers of "the lost generation" Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, F Scott Fitzgerald and Gertrud Stein.
