Located at the foot of the Esplanade for La Defense and with a taxi rank outside, this is a convenient spot for business travelers. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean. The buffet breakfast is well stocked with pastries and fresh fruit.
Stay in this hotel before its in a great location for exploring Paris, most areas are a maximum of 25 mins travel on the metro. If you walk across the bridge to Neuilly there are some great little restaurants and bars.
Very close to Metro and commercial center. You could visit most of the tourist spot, you will just take Metro 1. The staff are not that nice though but the bar lady is very nice and approachable. The room is clean and the bed is very comfy
Given so many Ibis locations have been refurbed this property in La Defense is very tired. Painted artexed walls, a hard wooden seat to sit at the desk, old red bench cushion have all seen better days in the room I was in on the top floor (14). The Ibis website talks of "Your room and your bed are of the cosiest comfort. WITH BIG FLUFFY PILLOWS, SUPER-SOFT DUVETS AND HIGH-TECH MATTRESSES THAT ALIGN WITH THE DENSITY POINTS OF YOUR BODY. THE NEW IBIS BED IS DIFFICULT TO LEAVE" showing photos of the new layouts, artwork and lighting. For the price charged at Ibis La Defense I would suggest it falls well short of expectations
A good hotel very reasonably priced. Line 1 Metro is 200 M from the front door with many trains delivering you to The Champs Elysee in 10 minutes. As this is in the business district it is very quiet on weekend evenings with no restaurants or bars open other than in the hotels. We've stopped here 3 times and will again.
Reception desk is weak. We had to claim our welcome drink. Asked for taxi several times without reply. No water pressure in bathroom. Poor water evacuation in shower . Maintenance team (plumber ) is impolite.
Our stay was great the staff were fantastic and the hotel room was a little small, but spotless and clean.. the location is fantastic on the metro line..will return .. Ger and Anita from limerick. Ireland
Good breakfast, quick/fast check out/in :) friendly staff, and the room was really clean. the TV channels was great, I have the opportunity the seen my favorites TV programs :). the location is great.
The staff at this hotel is very rude primarily the staff at the reception desk. They don't provide the benefits that are promised to the Accor Silver status members. The WIFI in this hotel is very slow.
Check in was easy, the staff welcomed us and were friendly, there is a continental breakfast in the restaurant, they also serve coffee and have a small bar with a seating area. The hotel offers free wifi to guests. The room was clean, the bathroom and towels clean and the bedding was clean. This hotel is in the business district and a great location to commute into the heart of Paris via the metro (1 yellow) or bus. The metro is 3 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a bus stop outside the hotel and the bus stop going into town is 5 minutes walk on the other side of the road. I have stayed in a few accor hotels over the world and was very pleased with the overall stay at Ibis Paris la Défense Centre. You have got the basics right at this hotel and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a short stay in Paris.
A lot of marathonrunners stayed at the hotel on Sunday, management obviously unaware resulting in understaffed and unprofessional personnel at breakfast that morning. Also dinner same night of very poor quality as was personnel.
- Not too many option for Breakfast. had to eat same items for 5 mornings . - week days Price is high as 4* hotels. Weekend price is just half of weekday price - Located closer to Metro & in city center. Easy to travel using public transport though I did not
Excellent Value. Excellent staff and service Only drawback is like all European countries is they have no concept of what breakfast is Other than that we could find no fault. On checking out staff organised a UBER taxi to the airport after the ones on the rank outside were unable or unwilling to quote a fix fare CDG
This is probably the best value place to stay when doing business in La Defense. The location is good I love the walk up the Esplanade in the mornings. Convenient to Metro Line 1. if you walk across the bridge into Neuilly there are several good places to eat / drink. View from the top floors also wonderful. Breakfast is often too busy - although the madelaines are fantastic. Bed a bit strange and too soft
My friends and I were travelling to Paris for the Stade Francais v Munster Champions Cup and we had stayed at ibis, La Défense, on a previous visit. We were not disappointed. All aspects of our stay were very positive. The rooms were fresh. The breakfast set us up for the days ahead (we spent two nights). The bar was nice to back to, before we retired for the night (and the price of the beer compares very favourably with other bars around Paris. Sally, the barman, was great. She conversed with us readily and practiced her English. All of Paris is accessible from ibis, La Défense - the Metro and bus stops are only 100m away. When I return to Paris for my next rugby trip, I will certainly stay in ibis, La Défense as it is reasonably priced, the staff is friendly, food is good, and all points are accessible.
At check-in they did not recognize the fact that I was a Le Club SIlver Member and they did not offer the welcome drink (last time same story, I was the one asking for it). When we came back from our day trip in Paris, we realized that they have not cleaned the room at all. They forgot although we left at 14h so there were a few hours for the cleaning. Therefore, I went to the reception and not only the receptionist did not excuse but started saying that probably was our fault. No excuses were given at any time.
nothing wrong with hotel same standard every where problem was with staff friends waiting for me in the hotel lobby were kicked out of hotel even though they informed reception my last name I wanted to make an out side call and couldn't then reception told me I have to make a guarantee payment to make calls I said excuse me you have my credit card details should be more than enough I asked for a taxi at check out and informed that the location was very nearby reception asked me WHY? IT'S VERY CLOSE EITHER YOU WALK OR TAKE THE METRO... reason I asked for a taxi was I had 3 large pieces of luggage... I shouldn't have a reason Staff was very unfriendly
The hotel is clean. We had a double plus single bed room. The room is fairly small but it is fine for a short stay. Car park is next to the hotel, We paid about 24 Euros for 12 hours of parking. Metro station is right next to the hotel so it is very convenient. It is on the line that goes to the centre and it doesn't take long to get there. Breakfast was great, kids eat free. The night staff when we arrived at midnight were not very pleasant and quite abrupt but the moorning reception staff were really nice and helpful. It was quite difficult to find the right road that leads to the front of the hotel where the main entrance is as the area around the hotel is a bit of a maze so if you drive, it is easier just to park your car first and then walk a short distance to the back entrance with your luggage. I would stay there again.
The staff are great and really try to help but the air conditioning really lets the hotel down. First night the bedroom was between 25 and 26 degrees. Next night we moved to the non-sunny side but the room was still 22 degrees - acceptable but not great. For the last night the air conditioning packed up completely. We were offered another room change but didn't want to move again. It went up to 23 - just OK. Other than this, the hotel was fine and in a great position for sightseeing.
The place of the hotel was great but the ckeck in done by place (accor hotel app) has not been validated yet (strange but maybe the communication of the group has not been done) the Wifi free was not good and i've not tested the other because it's too expensive.
