I regularly use this hotel as it is very convenient for my journey between Norfolk and Riberac allowing me an overnight stop with a great restaurant next door, which has a great and varied and enjoyable menu.

Convenient place if you need to attend event at the exhibition center. Good service, easy check in & out. Basic and pretty small room. Basic breakfast with limited buffet. Stay is pretty pricy especially during event at the exhibition center. Nothing around this suburb of Rouen.

This hotel is supposed to be 3 stars hotel - we are far from it! : very very small room, bathroom is really old, impersonal; you can see areas burnt by cigarettes... Only interest of this place is the convenient location if you need to go to the exhibition center Only positive feedback: nice and friendly staff, easy check in/out, good bed quality.

We like to break up our UK/France stopover at a half way point and several years ago came across this hotel as being the optimum location. We have stayed here quite a few times and overall have been very happy with the hotel. This time we used some accumulated points to help pay for our room and we were somewhat disappointed to find that we had been given one much smaller than usual. This may have been the luck of the draw, although the hotel was by no means full. It does make us wonder?

After staying in an Ibis at Le Mans the night before we were looking forward to staying in an Ibis again but disappointing stay ... The restaurant was not open for an evening meal after a long drive so had to walk down the road to find somewhere, then a coach load of eastern tourists turned up who were extremely loud shouting in corridors and at breakfast taking over the restaurant and again very loud, bathroom was very small and not the cleanest. The only good point of the stay was the quality of the breakfast , can't fault it with so much choice. Think again about staying at this one which is a shame as stayed at the ibis budget next door in May and thought we would upgrade... Achieved nothing .

The stay was good and the receptionist was very helpful, unfortunately when we wanted to extend our stay in your Perpignan hotel and got the receptionist to ring to cancel our booking for the return journey ,we were told it was none refundable, even though we were going to stop a couple of days more at your other hotel, that was disappointing, especially as we are club members!

I always stay at Ibis in France and yet to be disappointed, except this one in Rouen parc des expos, it has no air conditioning and no restaurant at night, and is one of the dearest in the Ibis group. the rooms were very noisy and the room was stifling if you left the window open all sorts of bugs flew in. so this one is off my list.

We have used the Ibis Hotel chain in France for a number of years but after our experience at the Rouen Parc des Expos Zenith this year we need to think again before using Ibis. We pre-booked a one night stay earlier in the year, on arrival in Sept we were allocated to room number 179. The bathroom was/is a disgrace, the laminate is peeling off the wooden splash-back behind the basin, the mirror lights are rusty with peeling paintwork, the shower/bath mixer tap unit is hanging off the fitting, the toilet paper roll holder is hanging off the wall, the plasticised wall covering above the bath is degraded with inbuilt mould, the mastic grouting around the bath appears to be stained with what looks like blood presumably left by the tradesman when he last replaced it. The bed itself bears no relation to the publicity blurb in the room which boasts about the quality and make-up of the Hotel beds with its quality mattress and mattress topper - our bed was fitted with a foam mattress only, covered by a zip-on cover and flimsy protector which was too small for the mattress and base sheet which was also too small for the mattress. The base sheet and mattress topper consequently rode up into a ridge in the middle of the bed. The bed was fitted with Duvet which was far too heavy for the time of the year bedroom temperature despite having turned the room thermostat down to its lowest setting. To add to my moans Ibis no longer provide restaurant services, relying on Courtepaille in this instance it entails some thing like a two mile plus journey around the one way system to access it, and once there it is little better than a McDonald's outlet. Also no tea/coffee making facility in the room. If only the room accommodation lived up to all the fancy blurb and reflected the presentation of the Reception/bar/foyer area. The only plus point in this establishment is the excellent breakfast they provide.

The position of the hotel is some way to the south of Rouen city on a major approach road, so is good. Good eating facilities close by and easy to reach. Staff at reception were extremely pleasant and helpful and could speak good English! Breakfast was OK and is available from 6.30am helpful for an early start. BUT the rooms are far too small with barely room for a slim person to move around the base of the very comfortable double bed and no room for a decent chair to relax in(sitting on a bed is not comfortable). I should imagine for a large person the rooms must be almost impossible to circumnavigate, especially in the middle of the night! For the top of the range of the IBIS group (it was no different from the Etaps we stayed in last year) this I feel is the one big black mark that should be noted and dealt with in future building.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 or 6 years on our way down to Cognac. It is ideal for our purposes as a stop over on our way down and back. The availability of snacks at the bar is ideal after a long drive. The rooms are clean and its location means we have a good nights sleep. Buffet breakfast is excellent and sets us up for the next part of our journey. As we travel with our dog the fact that they accept pets is also a bonus. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here on the way back to the UK. Very well positioned for that. We had a deal at €59 for the night. The rooms was tiny, but perfectly functional. We had our dog with us and he coped fine. The hotel car park is secure so is perfect for letting a dog run around for exercise. Terrible restaurant round the corner so go to MacDondalds instead.
