Very convenient for the autoroute, and as long as you don't mind Courtpaille, the restaurant is also very convenient. Service was very efficient at checkin and checkout. Service in Courtpaille was a little bit slow/relaxed.
Room not cleaned by 4pm one day as it was forgotten. Food in Hotel was very good, especially the evening meal options. Very friendly front of house staff and restaurant staff. Rooms average in terms of space.
Quiet hotel with restaurant near auto route. Slightly expensive but well placed. Helpful staff. Disapponting that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Dog stayed with us in room which was good, but room not big.
The town of Senlis is a very pretty little place with cobbled streets and its own cathedral. I have stayed at this Ibis at least six times so that tells you all you need to know. Great value if you book very early. The bistro attached is ok with moderate cooking but it's very over priced for what it is. The wine by the glass is very very poor. Stick to the pression.
Typical Ibis no frills, good location for Senlis town centre and Chateau Chantilly. clean and comfortable. Grill restaurant attached convienient but average, in hindsight we should have gone into town but it was late and we took advantage of its location
This was my second time staying at an IBIS and I chose it because of its location near Parc Asterix. I also liked to fact that it had plenty of free parking. Location was great and easy to find. The Inn had a restaurant and a McDonald's next door. Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Had a good room with a comfortable bed and it was quiet. The internet service was good. We chose to not get breakfast at the restaurant because we planned and get something to go from the McDonald's. After checking out we drove to the McDonald's to find out it didn't open till 10 am. I would stay at this Inn again.
Assuming you know that Ibis hotels are spartan, this one is as good as they get. It was spotless. The staff were accommodating and most pleasant and they went out of their way to be helpful. If you have a car, it's a real alternative to staying at the airport.
Having told reception of my wife's disability we arrived to be shown a very small, cramped and cold room. Five keys were necessary as the lock would not work. A temporary electric fire was eventually found and the wire trailed across the room. The bed was set at an angle so that my wife bumped her head on a superfluous shelf. The horrid seat in the shower was an insult to the disabled. The staff were totally indifferent to our needs. Never again. We complained to the hotel group and received a ~ we shall alter things' reply. I have sent a letter to the CEO ~ I expect a reply any day soon . . . .
Intermittent presence at reception, but helpful when there. Room was very small but clean. Air conditioning working, a definite plus. Restaurant's menu choice limited and after 3 nights, it was time to go and eat somewhere else.
This Ibis is set among grass and trees but is a most convenient location for the Autoroute 5 minutes away. Rooms are clean and functional. Meals are provided by an on-site Court Paille, not everybody's taste!
The hotel is close to the motorway junction but a very long walk from the town. The bedrooms are clean and tidy and there is a steak and chips style restaurant next to reception. The lady receptionist on the evening we arrived was rather brusque.
the service at all times was extremely helpful. the room was clean as was the bathroom. the only downside for me was no kettle and tea making facilities. location was good being just off motorway. will stay again.
Chose to stay here as a half-way house having been holidaying in the Dordogne and the need to get back to Calais. This proved to be the right choice! Excellent location, excellent facilities, overall an excellent place to stay!!
We were travelling from the south of France. To our home in Yorkshire and Senlis is an ideal location to halve the journey home. It is only a couple of minutes from the motorway and the Ibis is ideal having great rooms and a very reasonable and quality restaurant.
We needed somewhere nice to stay to break a long journey from the Dordogne to Zeebrugge and this ticked all the boxes. Clean and comfortable rooms with everything in we needed. Fab shower. Nice restaurant, reasonably priced and friendly staff.
The room wasn't very clean: hairs in the bed and bathroom. The carpet wasn't vacuum cleaned under the bed. Cobweb in the corners of the room. Light cigarette smell in the whole room. On TV visible fingerprints.
This is located in just the right place for our journey from Deux Serves to Zeebrugge, we have stayed there for many years and have always been very happy. Senlis has very fond memories for me as I first visited France staying with a French family in this very attractive town in the 1950's. I always look forward to returning
Cot/baby bed was broken. Other one was taken. We booked cot weeks in advance of stay and confirmed when we stayed a week before that we would need it again for this visit - the staff said that the cot would be available. Not safe for baby to sleep in beds especially where they have been joined together. Sunday evening reception staff had a bad attitude - every request was greeted with a sarcastic look and no sense of urgency. She new that the cot was broken but said that she had no record of a cot being required on our booking. Only one high-chair available which was taken so baby had to eat breakfast on our laps. Rooms were too hot to be comfortable for sleeping. The airconditioning temperature could not be adjusted and the bedding that was provided was not suitable for the temperature of the room. The milk at breakfast tasted like it was long-life milk although the staff said that it was fresh. Luckily a manager was on hand on the Monday morning and he gave us a discount without any fuss. However I really think that the hotel should make urgent improvements in terms of the attitude of the Sunday member of staff and in terms of catering to young families (considering there were a number of young families staying there during our visit).
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Plenty of parking available. Hotel is easy to access from autoroute and great location for visiting Parc Asterix or central Paris. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
After a 10 hour drive we were looking forward to a half decent meal in the hotel restaurant. All we were offered was a cold buffet. The kitchen was not serving hot food, despite it being around 6pm when we arrived. No explanation. No vegetarian option. Very little replacement of the food that was being consumed. Very little sign of the (very young) waiting staff. I think they might have been hiding in the kitchen. There were many guests wandering around in a bemused state looking for some service. Many were disappointed. People were wandering off towards town in the hope of finding an alternative. The only option close by was the McDonalds next door. This appeared to be queued out the door - and the arrival of an ambulance didn't do much to make it appear any more inviting. We've stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past and it's been OK, but we won't be staying there again until there is an explanation as to why the kitchen was closed.
