We were so happy with our overnight stay that we immediately booked a room for our return journey. The staff were extremely welcoming and couldn't have been not helpful and charming. The Easter meal was delicious and excellent value for money. We strongly recommend this hotel and will not hesitate to use it again.
Very pleaseant night's stay, the room was clean and sufficiently sized, including a very good evening meal and similar breakfast. Bathroom was clean and of sufficient size. Staff very helpful and polite, a very pleasanrt stay.
Small IBIS hotel in a strange location. You will find it at 7km from the motorway A331 in an industrial zone. Nevertheless, it's very quiet in the week-ends. Very nice staff, extremely helpful and they do speak english (however as a native french speaker, it was not necessary for me). The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom with its italian shower is almost big enough for 2. You can eat in the restaurant "à la carte" or you can choose a menu (formule). If you like the french cuisine I recommend the "escargots de Bourgogne" (Burgundish snails). Although we spent only one night, we had a pleasant stay. Worth the price.
This is very much below the normal standard of an Ibis hotel. Most unwelcoming upon arrival. Our small dogs were, at best, tolerated and not welcome in the restaurant; unlike most normal Ibis hotels. There is no lift, a big inconvience for us in our 70s, which is not mentioned in the details of the hotel on the Ibis website. A change of room to the ground floor was not offered as an option.
The hotel was very basic and old fashioned. it was however very clean and the staff were very helpful. It is in need of some decoration and upgrade. The location is a little out of the way for the centre of Dijon but the staff arranged us a taxi
Good for my trip to south of France as I just needed a one night stop off. The hotel is functional just of a main road into Dijon. Have stayed in others where the location allows a garden and a better restaurant.
In general no negative comments. We come here already for several years, because the hotel is just halfway between Southern France and Belgium. Maybe a buffet formula on the eveninbg menu might be a good idea.
Friendly helpful reception clean room good choice at breakfast. Ideally situated for the motorway network. In an area with many places to visit, wine, walking and Dijon city. Good place to break the journey when traveling to or from skiing.
The room is fine, comfortable and clean. The bathroom very basic (no bath) but it is ok. My reason for rating this hotel as I did was the soundproofing between rooms is terrible which means if you don't want to get up at 6 am you will have a hard time. As all the other guests we saw were on business trips, everyone was up at 6am and I was woken up by the sound of doors slamming and the person in the room above me walking around very loudly. Given we had been driving 8 hours the day before, we were exhausted and had another 8 hours of driving to do so we really wanted to sleep until around 9am. My upstairs neighbour was walking around loudly on the wooden floors above until 1am and then it seemed every guest in the hotel was on the move from 6am which meant I had 5 hours sleep. When you are paying 71 Euros a night, this is very disappointing.
We have been to this hotel on our way back from the south of France. Being an Accor-member I booked it the evening before online and I was really happy I did. The price on-site (€89) is too high. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but pretty small.
The hotel is on a major road and had a lot of noise from motor bikes and sports cars during the day and and early evening the night was quite the staff very pleasant the restaurant was understaffed a very long wait for food the rooms are tired and in need of a re-refurbishment
As always, extremely comfortable - but the outstanding feature this year was the excellent scrambled eggs served at breakfast, small quantities attractively served and constantly replenished and thus fresh. Creamy & delicious.
Easy to find, very nice staff, comfortable room, good restaurant. The staff spoke English which was a big help to travellers who did not speak French. What is not to like. Would definitely stay in one of their hotels again
This is a small, rather dated Ibis hotel and, rather surprisingly, without a lift. The staff are very helpful and helped a little with luggage. Rooms are smaller than expected and this hotel would be better suited to the Ibis Budget range.
Altogether a very good experience; a pleasant room and very comfortable beds. Although it is near a main road, the hotel is very quiet. My wife's dietary needs (gluten free) were well taken care of by the attentive staff.
Always stop here and find the staff great, and the rooms excellent value. The restaurant here is amazing for an evening meal - really under rated - I think they have an excellent in house chef who puts a lot of personal touches to the food, so it doesn't have the feel of a horrible chain at all.
Second time at this hotel and will be staying again. One night per time to and from Eurotunnel on way to and from Costa Blanca. Bar and restaurant quality very good. Parking easy, right outside of reception. Dog friendly,
IBIS at this place is a more standard, basic accommodation. The service and the cleanliness of the room and the restaurant is great. Could be a bit noisy over the night. Fair pricing. Coffee to Go is perfect!
......the room was ok, but next to a foul smelling, leaking sewage drain. We wondered where the smell was coming from..... .....we found out in the morning. Just under where our car was parked, outside our room window! The duvet was far too heavy for the weather/temperatures. The food is expensive for what it is at IBIS. We have used IBIS for many years, but wonder if they have taken their eye off the ball??? Also, how about offering tea/coffee making facilities in the room?
As we were delayed by bad weather we phoned ahead to find when the kitchen closed. We were delighted to find we could get a hot meal until 10.30 at night. Great service all round And doubly so as we were given breakfast before the advertised start time as we had to hit the road early. A comfortable night between two days of difficult travel. Thanks
