Really nice hotel within walking distance of centre of Arles (20 min) or short bus ride (bus stop around corner from hotel). Visited 3 years ago and the hotel has benefitted from refurbishment if pool area & new lift up to guest rooms.
This hotel is conveniently located if travelling by car and wanting to visit Arles. The hotel is currently being refurbished, but this did not affect our stay. The breakfast was good, with a smaller breakfast available from 10 to midday, which was rather good over the weekend.
We have enjoyed our visit to your hotel and we have appreciated its proximity to the Museum of Arles antiques, that has remarkable elements the roman times of Arles. The diner we had at the hotel was appreciated by the quality of the food.
I´m a frequent Accor user and have not big expectation from French hotels, but this was so far worst experience. Most probably saving mode, AC was off despite still very hot days on south of France. Rooms are really worn out, bathroom tiles were full of sand, I believe from some kind of cleaning agent. Shower holder damaged. Big spider webs on lights in room. Internet so so convenient, had to insert login always after not using phone/pc for a while. They charged breakfast on my bill without even asking I took some automatically. Check in was bit chaotic, welcome drink voucher printed on some scrap paper, does not look professional at all....
The personell in the hotel, both at the reception and restaurant, were very friendly and helpful all the time. The room wasn’t the largest double room, but was clean and quiet and we, including two dogs, felt comfortable. It was a pity, that no laundry service was available at the hotel. But the ‘outdoor’ laundry station very near by solved the problem mostly.
I would not stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the location was a little 'rough'. The building is in need of an update inside and out. At first glance I thought it was a Budget Ibis but I've stayed in better Budget hotels than this one. There is no lift so carrying luggage up 2-3 floors is a possibility. The evening meal in the restaurant was poor, not a great choice. Breakfast was OK but they ran out of croissants and had to bake some more, 5 more to be precise between 4 of us. Plenty of cake but the English don't tend to eat cake for breakfast! Overall this place is 'shabby' but not chic!
The Arles Ibis was excellent.Although the rooms were quite old fashioned and quite small everything was clean and acceptable. Both the breakfasts and evening meals were very good.. The restaurant was pleasant There was a wide choice of food and good value. Staff were helpful and friendly
We stay in a lot of Ibis hotels and the brand is generally excellent. This hotel, however is dark, the rooms are hot and the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable with springs sticking through. Unfortunately we had booked 3 nights here. We decided to buy a duvet from the shopping centre opposite to put on top off the mattress! This cost 54€, but made it possible to use the bed. The hotel lent us a really dirty fan, covered in grease and dust, to keep the bedroom room temperature down, which we used as desperate. Why do hotels in France turn off their air conditioning in October regardless of the temperature? Breakfast was the standard Ibis breakfast - so very good.
2nd time here, and will definitely return. Staff are fabulous, courteous and willing to help. Situated within 10-15 minute walk of centre of Arles with good access to local amenities. Breakfast is great and is buffet style so eats as much as you like. Rooms very clean
Distant and formal check-in, review of all possible personal documents (Ibis card, credit card, passport) including copying some of them (illegal in my country), the need to pay in advance. Too small room for a couple (little space for luggage, TV on the table). No lift (my wife has a problem with walking up/downstairs) - this was the last information we got at the check-in.
This is a three-floor hotel with no elevator....only suitable for those who like to carry suitcases up stairs. Room was very small and tight for a couple. While the price was reasonable, it is actually high given the third rate location (just off the highway and industrial/commercial neighborhood).
Hasn't altered since we last stayed here really. Its a great base from which to explore the Camargue and easily accessible and visible from the autoroute. Meal was very good we were impressed with variety and helpfulness of staff. Car parking is secure and it has a good pool too. We struggled with the temperaure controls in the room and it is was a VERY hot night, maybe they need an upgrade but this was a minor point. Good place to explore from or take a break en route to Spain on the Cote d'Azur.
We have stayed at the Ibis in Arles several times and have found it comfortable and convenient to connect with the road network. An excellent base for visiting the Camargue, however it is about 1.5 km from the centre of Arles so not so convenient if that is your main goal. The staff are most helpful and speak good English.Air conditioning was much appreciated with outside night time temperatures in excess of 25C ! Very comfortable beds and an adequate bathroom (over-bath shower)although the bath side was very high and difficult to get in and out at our advancing years. Good buffet breakfast (at extra cost). Dinner however was a disappointment - not a great choice on the menu and not of very high quality although the buffer menu at Eu 10 was good. However there are plenty of excellent restaurants in and around Arles. We will no doubt stay at the Ibis on our next visit to the area.
This hotel was well situated and enabled a 15 minute walk into the centre of Arles. No complaints about the staff, who were friendly. The restaurant was pleasan- overlooking the garden and pool. The evening meals were good value -although very full the staff coped well at all times
