Once we'd found the hotel everything was fine but we really thought we'd taken a wrong turn somewhere as we ended up in very close proximity to a housing estate. Very helpful & friendly staff, the room was as good as ever & the food was top notch.
Standard Ibis hotel and room. Very pleasant staff and adequate meal for dinner and breakfast buffet. Good value for money. Be aware no lift but rooms available on ground floor if needed. Short distance off A10 motorway, so ideal for Charles de Gaulle airport or stop before channel ports
Hotel is very easy to find and convenient from the auto-route. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Everywhere is very clean, (the restaurant, the room and the corridors). We had a good nights sleep, quiet and comfortable.
Having never stayed at an Ibis before, I was surprised by the overall helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel overall. Expecting a sleepless night because of the small room, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to not hear anything from the other rooms or the street (we were on the ground floor by the entrance). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities clean and everything worked. The restaurant stays open until 10:00 pm and the food isn't overpriced. The only downside is the room rate is on the higher side for the overall quality of the hotel but that maybe due to its being close to Charles de Gaulle airport.
We have stayed in the same rating Ibis but in a different region of France so we thought this would be of the same quality but unfortunately not! The room was old and shabby, the aircon didn't work, there was no bin in the room, the pillows were uncomfortable and the towels had a strange smell, I certainly didn't feel refreshed after our stay there!! The breakfast area was nice as was the food and the staff..I can't recommend this place..
Very comfortable room. Good food in restaurant. But IBIS France is now expensive. IBIS Spain & Portugal are half the price of similar IBIS in France. Since the rebranding to Styles & Budget, most of the very good IBIS I had stayed in previously seem to be rebranded as budget. As such most have very limited food choice
A good welcome by a young man who spoke perfect english as to my limited french. He explained everything and was there in the morning to help us with the breakfast which was very early and very good. The bedrooms were very clean and the bed very welcoming after a long day
think hotel could do with modernisation . Towels are not of a quality expected and no air conditioning at all and very small . Also no coffee/tea in actual room . Reception staff are helpful. Menu in restaurant is very limited
Was able to have a restful night. The afternoon receptionist I called while reserving the 2 rooms was very helpful and promised to open the windows in the rooms before our arrival. Consequently our rooms were cool enough to sleep. He accommodated all my requests, and did not mind that I called him 3 times! Breakfast was great and all the automobile club of old cars appreciated (i'm sure) the security gates closed at night. I would go back without hesitation. We had a spring special for 54 euros
We only stayed one night in the Ibis Budget Hotel in Compiegne. The rooms had recently been refurbished so were very clean. Service from the staff was great, although they had run out of coffee and croissants by the time we came down for breakfast towards the end of the scheduled time slot. Location was excellent: very close to the center of town and the train station. I had requested a quiet room at the back. For the price, it was a great room. There is a fabulous little restaurant just around the corner, Le Bistrot du Boucher.
