On checking in at this hotel we paid a pre authorisation on my partner’s money card for the full amount. When leaving we were asked to validate the authorisation amount. Little did we know that this was a second payment, the first amount is still awaiting clearance on the money card two weeks later, an amount of €363 which we can’t use. Apparantly pending amounts can take up to 31 days to be cleared. This seems to be a practice of the Accor Hotel Group as the same thing happened to me at the Mercure hotel in Nancy. An amount of €600 is still pending on my money card after the receptionist assured me that she was using the pre authorisation amount to pay the account. This was three weeks ago. I will not be staying at any Accor Hotels in future.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Dijon. Minutes on foot to all the local attractions, important historical sites, restaurants, shops. The usual good quality of Ibis, very comfortable beds and quilts. An underground parking garage is directly in front of the hotel for a reasonable 10 Euros per 24 hours. The biggest problem with this hotel is getting there. My GPS Navi gave up to navigate through an absolutely bewildering maze of blocked, closed, and one way streets, with streets that are sometimes open for passage and sometimes closed by movable bollards, a very poorly marked parking garage entrance ( you have to drive up on the sidewalk and into a small park with flower pots that has the look like you are NOT supposed to drive in there). My advice: tell the Navi to go to the Place de la Republiques, drive 180 deg around the Place, take rue DeVosge to rue du Temple, left, then follow signs to Grangier Parking and drive to your right onto the sidewalk when the signs stop.

We used this Ibis as a stop over on the way to and back from the south and we found that the staff were friendly and informative, we had the shared family room which was clean and which the kids enjoyed as well as they nicked the sweets from our room. The continental breakfast is what you expect in France anyway so it wasn't a problem for us. I would recommend a family to stay here as the restaurants (the Grill Laure is very nice) are close by as well as the underground car park. I would check out the location of the car park on Street View and try and remember it as the Sat Nav went a bit crazy when we got close to it.

Love staying at this hotel in the center of Dijon. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They were helpful in getting me another hotel reservation at a Mercure in Chamonix. Thanks. The breakfast was good. I like the location for it is close to parking, shopping and excellent restaurants. I stay every year I come to Dijon.

The hotel is in a great position to explore the town. Rooms are typical town hotel but have adequate facilities. Getting into the car park is a little tricky and is not part of the hotel but so close it does not matter. For anyone trying to find the hotel I would suggest using the post code for the carpark as it's in a oneway system And takes you directly there.

Step out of the hotel straight into the city centre. Well located yet quiet close to shops and restaurants. Well priced car park right on the doorstep. Breakfast is perfectly satisfactory, gluten free products are available.

Our sat nav could not cope with the central Dijon one way system & pedestrianisation however reception staff were very helpful - top marks. Hotel location is great. Tea & coffee making facilities no longer in the room - IBIS seem to be cutting back. Good breakfast but range of items available seems to have been cut back.

Clean, comfortable and centrally located. A good value. Anyone driving in to town could probably use some guidelines on how to reach hotel and deal with the adjacent parking lot (how to get in to it is not obvious).

Clean, quiet hotel located on a lovely square right in the city centre. Staff friendly. Breakfast buffet was fairly simple however. Location though is perfect to explore the city centre. Hotel doesn't have a car park itself but the nearest public one is an underground car park under the square in front so very convenient.

Good location for half way stop to the South of France. Very central with close proximity to Dijon city centre restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plenty to keep us going on the second leg of our trip.

Right in the center of the city. Nearby underground car park. Historic city within short walking distance. Welcoming desk. Quiet and very clean room and bathroom... of average size. High ceiling though. Small bottle of water offered but room is missing a fridge.Self Service breakfast with many choices. Nice place for a short stay.

Good value hotel in the centre of historic Dijon with excellent access to cathedral, other historic buildings, shops and restaurants. It is very modern inside but located in a heritage building. Rooms were very comfortable and the air conditioing worked well (often NOT the case!) Buffet-style breakfast (included in the room cost) was good and plentiful although staff were somtimes slow to replenish dishes that were geting low. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful and had a good command of English. One downside was that the hotel has no car parking facilities so you have to try to find a roadside space (not easy but free after 7pm) or park in the rather expensive underground public car park.

this hotel has a good position for looking around dijon, the car park is very difficult to get to. vThe rooms are very small but adequate however i would not want to stay any longer than one night. The breakfast was satisfactory.

Really nice hotel. Centrally located. Great restaurant with obliging staff. We were delayed by a traffic jam for over two hours and did not get to the restaurant until after 22.00hrs. We then had an excellent meal served us with a smile.

Ibis hotel in the centre of Dijon. Main sights and shops are within walking distance. Our room was pleasant and clean. The brasserie restaurant served a very good value dish of the day; we ate there every evening. This was confirmed by the fact that many locals also ate here. If you come by car, watch out as access is difficult. There is no way to legally access the hotel. The only parking facility is the municipal car park at €12/day.

Beautiful old building. Spacious room, good service and decently priced. Breakfast was typical Ibis styles but the breakfast room was nicer than the average one. I didn't have my toilet bag and unfortunately they didn't have a toothbrush.

Absolutely loved this hotel, especially for the value considering that Wifi and breakfast are included. there's a safe parking garage right at the doorstep, Galleries Lafayette and plenty of shops and cafe's night next door, and right along the historic walking tour of this magnificient city. The staff was gracious when we arrived with our whiney car-weary kids, and immediately delighted them with kid size backpacks filled with games and treats! Mom and dad loved the crisply designed hotel interiors, clean and comfortable (if small) rooms and spacious lift. And breakfast was very satisfactory (Okay, the powered scrambled eggs were a big gross, but aren't they always? and they boil-your-own egg pot was a nice complement. In all, I stay in 5* hotels when travelling for work, but am likely to stay in an Ibis Styles from now on when traveling with the kiddos! thanks for a great stay!

A very clean and tidy well placed hotel in the middle of Dijon, the only problem is finding it on the sat nave, you have to head for the car park next door as it thinks that you are entering a pedestrian area.

We arrived late after hitting traffic on our journey to be told car park closed at 10 pm. After some discussion we were allowed into the car park but it wasn't what we needed after a longer than planned drive. The room was comfortable but no tea coffee facilities at all, unlike a much cheaper Campanile room we'd stayed in on our outward journey. The room rate was a special offer of Breakfast included no extra charge. When we went down to the dinning room it was a total mess un cleared tables empty dishes . No fruit salad in bowl. No yoghurt not a croissants or pain chocolate in sight just plain baguette. After I assume someone made a complaint staff that hadn't been seen when we arrived appeared to replenish things and we did finally get something to eat. Dijon at night was also not as inviting as we'd hoped several stray dogs running wild and a lot of drunken noicey folk..not what we expected at all.

The tone is set the minute you enter: "Surprise!" Dijon has an ample supply. A huge mural covers the wall: images of the city, dates, history...a trip to remember! Now head for the restaurant. Eggs meurette, a glass of Hautes Côtes de Nuits...savour local specialties under a lacquered tile roof. The photos, the furniture, everything reflects the colour of those famous tiles: grey, blue and red. Satisfaction guaranteed. Time to retreat to your room? Here's where the visit draws to a close. Grape seeds or mustard seeds at the head of the bed...in the middle of mustard fields and vineyards, cuddled up in an ultra-soft comforter, all that's left to do is to drift off to sleep.

Charles the Bold, Hugh the Peaceful, Philip the Good...and why not Pommard, Givry, Chablis. Oh Dijon! The capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, but also of gastronomy. A heritage that inspires the hotel's owner. A contemporary design using the city's palette, super-comfortable furniture...a stay that definitely cuts the mustard!

Colour that vibrates. A smiling staff, always ready to talk about Burgundy's history and traditions. What else is there to say? At hotel Ibis Styles Dijon Central, you discover the very essence of the city. Pure relaxation in the very best taste!
