Good accessible hotel for overnight stay whilst travelling to the south, Access difficult because of road works (not their fault). One of our party has a severe food allergy. The staff were wonderful in ensuring he was well catered for We use IBIS a lot in France and have never been disappointed One thing, a pity there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms
The title has our review comments. When you arrive from the US it takes a committed effort to get used to the tight (cramped) conditions in the room & bathroom. Dinner = fine. Breakfast = very good indeed.
This hotel is comfortable, the restaurant is cosy with good food, attentive waiters and friendly, welcoming staff. Access is a bit difficult at the moment due to roadworks on the A10 but it is usually very easy.
The room was very comfortable, very clean, all staff were helpful and very friendly. We do wish hotels of this standard would provide tea making facilities. The hotel is just off the main road and hence quiet at night.
This hotel is well located for a stop over when travelling down through France. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The car park is secure with flood lights and gated, (great if you have a car full of kit). Bar staff ready to support at all times. Did not try breakfast because of moving on.
I stayed overnight in this pleasant, well-priced hotel, on both my outward and homeward journeys. The amenities were good and the staff very helpful. I enjoyed dinner on both occasions and would recommend it for overnight stays and as a base for your visit to Tours.
We stayed in this excellent Ibis Hotel along with two small dogs en route to our French holiday rental. In advance of our stay we received email confirmation and the chance to pre check-in to save time. Everything about this hotel is hotel is perfect from the good quality, tasty evening meals to the buffet breakfast. It is in an industrial area of other hotels and it was peaceful and handy for taking the dogs for a quick walk before bedtime. The room was plenty big enough for us and two small dogs and the shower was quite strong and inviting. Shame they have to supply such thin towels to prevent customers pinching them although they do the job adequately. I would definetey re visit and recommend this hotel highly.
Have stayed here several times, beds are very comfortable, food good and because we always book online in advance we get it for a reasonable price. Despite being so close to the A10 you can not hear any traffic noise. Nothing bad to say.
Just what one expects from Ibis, clean comfortable room. The added plus at Tours Sud is delightful staff, reasonable food and a good breakfast. Free parking and a place to walk dogs. We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed
We always stop here on our way to the SW France, it's perfect as its 6hr from Calais. The hotel is always very clear, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good, with a reasonable choice at a sensible price and the beer always tastes good after a long drive. Rooms are a little small but that's all to worry about.
Comfortable, clean and friendly. Excellent restaurant - serving good quality food, typical of the locality. I would most certainly recommend this Hotel to others. It was not easy to find because of the road closures nearby.
Very Clean Hotel i must say this must be the CLEANEST IBIS Hotel we have stayed at Food Was also Very good Staff Member Benjermin he was very good at his job and the rest of the staff worked with him will be back not happy with Management the root was bard so we spent over 1 hour trying to find the hotel the Hotel new the road was bard and should have noted to Guest's the new root car park was good and free as it should be Breakfast was plentiful and didn't run out a member of staff was making shore that every thing was topped up very good
Sound of airco in the building (not in the rooms) switches on and off day and night and disturbs sleeping. Rooms are rather small. We will not take this Ibis anymore. The relation between price and quality is not correct.
The hotel was well positioned relative to the A10 south of Tours. Parking was plentiful and private. Staff at reception were helpful, smiling and laughing. The room was well positioned, clean, quiet and comfortable for our one night stay. Bathroom/shower room was excellently laid out with plenty of hot water; plug in washbasin and, importantly, very clean. The shower layout was particularly good compared to many other hotels in which we have stayed. Our only complaint about the hotel was the piped Musak at breakfast - it was awful! Obviously not for the benefit of the customers and when we spoke to the staff about it, not for them either!! So for whose benefit was it? If the Ibis chain insist on having piped Musak at least let it be quiet and unobtrusive, which it wasn't on this occasion.
This was a "special deal" but not actually all that special. The bed was beautifully comfortable in a quiet spot on an industrial estate, and the staff were polite, but the food was poor and dishes were not always as described on the menu. No explanation was given and the service was appallingly slow. Pity.
This was the usual standard for an Ibis Hotel - very acceptable. Clean, comfortable and very helpful staff. The hotel is easy to find. Breakfast was what we have come to expect from Ibis - good range, and ideal start to the day!
We have always used the ibis chain when travelling, We like this chain and have never had a problem and the beds are very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The food was good and of high standard and a good selection of wines
I always prefer to stay in the Ibis' because it's cost-benefit characteristics. But Ibis Tours Sud it is very very good: located in a calm and safe region, with a very friendly and professional staff, a very comfortable restaurant and with the best bed I've ever slept in a Ibis. I recommend for sure!
We have stopped here before, it is an ideal location for overnight accommodation fairly easy to find and close to J 23 on the A10 with secure parking. There is a small restaurant serving excellent evening meals, and a basic breakfast. Although this is a commercial area there was no problem with noise.
the room although comfortable and clean was a bit disappointing in that bed was pushed against a wall therefore making it impossible for one person to get out without disturbing the other.my partner was disabled so very difficult and the room we were given was a room for handicap person
