The reason for booking this hotel is was it is near to Toulouse University and my granddaughter was registering. The hotel and rooms are clean, the staff are helpful and the University and Metro are only a 10 minute walk away. On the downside there are no restaurants close to the hotel and so the first night we chose to use the hotel restaurant. There was only a choice of cassoulet or crock Monsieur ( toasted cheese sandwich). The cassoulet was over cooked and probably the worst one I've ever had. The Crock Monsieur was only two slices of bread, a poor attempt at a salad and cost around 11 euros. Needless to say the second and last night we ate in Toulouse.
Arrived Saturday evening after 10 pm, gate closed but call to reception opened it. Good security. Room had all that was required for an overnight stay, no frivolous extras. Left early next moring but will certainly stay at this hotel again.
Close proximity to Toulouse Ring Road and Metro but not a lot else. Hotel very reminiscent of an American Motel. Rooms on the small side. Didn't partake in breakfast. Room rate high due to Euro 16 match.
Hotel is tired and need of a total refurbishment. However the morning staff were polite, helpful and professional, a total contrast to the football watching duo who where there on the evening arrival. No welcome drink, despite showing appropriate card ( and proof of age ! ) Dirty shower area - that needed a good clean and probably replacing the rusty bits.
Situated conveniently for onward journey to Spain or UK. Clean and well presented. Friendly and efficient staff. Menu adequate for most tastes. Only niggle is ventilation. No air con working and room was too hot. Windows not designed for tilt and turn or to open enough to vent the room. Basically closed or free to swing.
We stayed here for 2 nights, on separate days. Room small but comfortable, bed excellent, pillows excellent. Car park had security doors at night which was good and well lit. Restaurant very good, good choice at breakfast. Hotel in industrial area, although we ventured out, we thought the area run-down but that is just our opinion not knowing the locality. Handy for the motorways etc. Would stay here again. Staff very good, especially Darwing in the restaurant, very helpful.
