The facilities of this hotel date back to the 70s. Extremely expensive, 200 € for a tiny and uncomfortable room. The only good thing is the location and the views if you get a room in a high floor, in which case you don't get enough water in the shower.

Nice hotel in a very good location, close to the center and to public trasportation. The hotel is part of a big shopping center. Good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and very basic - no fridge, no safe, open place to put cloths.

I am a member of the Accorhotels loyalty programme, so I stay quite often in their hotels. This particular Ibis is the hotel of my choice, and i spend there almost a month a year. There are more Ibis hotels in the town, but not everyone is up to this level.

The girl on the front desk was truly delightful, gave us great advice and very helpful. The location is perfect for the christmas markets which were awesome and the room itself was also really nice and comfy bed.

First of all, forget the car and take time to walk around to appreciate everything. At least, visit the Cathedral and Petite France. In the afternoon, a coffee in one of multiple Cafès give you a moment to rest and to chat with friends. For dinner, eat delicious fruits de mère and fish.

The hotel was located in the city center...loads of places to eat nearby...perfect location...good clean and large rooms....lovely hotel staff too.and extremely cheap prices....can't ask for more! Just Perfect!

Good location, clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Wish that housekeeper wasn't too eager to clean our room. Apart from that all very good. We will definitely continue stay with Ibis when we can. Thank you!

Don't expect to get any sleep if you stay at this hotel. Located next to busy metro rails and popular night club. People yelling all hours of the night and very noisy. Must keep windows open to keep room cool.

We stayed two nights at the end of our trip in Alsace. Hotel is convenient and in good location, you can walk to city center. There is parking underground for the car, below Les halles mall. Watch out for the sign, which are not very easy to see. The room is small but is ok if you stay for one or two nights. We didn't have breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly.

The location was excellent. The reception was very good. Parking was very easy with direct access. The restaurant had a reasonable menu. The room was fine. Nice and quiet. The bat area was light and friendly. A lovely experience all round.

It has been nice stay and fair Treatment. Room are clean and was well serviced. The hotel location is perfect to have city tour, it is only too noisy in the night when the room windows are located on the channel side.

Ideal location for wandering the streets of Strasbourg. 5 minute walk to place Kleber for the main Christmas tree plus the Galleries Lafayette and Printemps. This was our second stay at this location - the rooms are small yet sufficient - bathroom was sufficient. Breakfast a little pricey considering in Strasbourg there are so many other options.

Room was small but spacious enough for a single person. bed was great. Room had view of the river and the Cathedral. Service is awesome, good friendly people at the reception, the restaurant and even the housekeepers. Location is really ideal.

Standard Ibis, in a very convenient location. The restaurant is very good including breakfast. The bad part is typical of all Ibis in Europse, I mean the rooms are not as big and as well furnished as they are in Brazil

Very good location easy walking distance from station, make sure you get the right Ibis as more than one in the location..Room adequate ,large bed.clean. Relatively quiet as across from river.Breakfast had to be taken next door, at the Novotel (same company Accor hotels) ,as the dining area was being refurbished .It was only a matter of,out of the door, walk 5 yards then into Novotel to a special Ibis room. This did not cause us any problems. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

Rooms are so clean , but slightly small. Location is excellent, just on the border of the mavellous old town. The shopping Center below the hotel is an excellent facility for shopping and eating. currently the hotel lobby is being rennovated and breakfast had to be shifted to the next door Novotel. We had a nice time and we difinitely recommend it.

With Ibis you get what you expect. Just this time the room smelled strange from the beginning. This gave the impression that it was not so clean. The hotel is good situated, just a few minutes from the city center.

The hotel is an ideal place to use as a base to see Strasbourg. You basically are in the heart of the city, can leave the car parked and discover Strasbourg by foot or street car . The personnel in the hotel was very friendly and helpful and spoke English and/or German to make sure that any question was answered. Will consider this hotel when visiting Strasbourg again.

My dad and I stayed at the Ibis Strasbourg Centre Halles for one night in May 2013. I selected the hotel because it was considerably cheaper than other hotels (book at least 20 days in advance for crazy low rates), next to the city center (within easy walking distance of everything), and next to reasonably priced parking. The P2 Sebastopol garage is not affiliated with the hotel, but it is directly accessible and inexpensive. We were parked for about 15 hours (overnight) and charged 7 Euros. I believe 24 hours is 11 to 13 Euros. Before our arrival I requested two twin beds and a cathedral view, and this was swiftly confirmed for us (and delivered upon). I also asked for and received the helpful parking advice. Upon arrival, the young woman at reception gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. Her directions were spot on, and the meal was delicious. Our room was basic and compact, but the beds were very comfortable, and for the rate we paid we were extremely satisfied. The soap provided in all Ibis hotels is a liquid for hands, face, body, and hair. It's in a plastic tube - one hangs by the sink and the other in the shower. It reminded me of hand sanitizer and looks like something you'd find in a hospital rather than a hotel. Dad didn't mind it, but I preferred to use my own soap and shampoo. The breakfast in Strasbourg is very bread heavy (typically French), and the fruit is not very attractive, but we were satisfied. The attendants were absolutely friendly and very helpful. We ate and then left for a morning walk. When we came back a few hours later and ordered two cups of coffee, we expected to pay for them. Instead we were told they were still included. Very friendly service. Overall, this is an excellent value hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it if you are staying one or two nights, have a car, and don't feel the need to pay for a more luxurious stay in Strasbourg.

The hotel is located very near to the town and the staff are very helpful. We stayed for two nights and the rooms were cleaned very thoroughly and promptly. The only cons is that the hotel does not have its own carpark and the public carpark, though near to he hotel, is very congested and the parking space is a little bit too small for MPV car. That said, it is still a value-for-money hotel which worth for recommending.
