The breakfast buffet looked excellent and there was a good choice of meat, cheese, joghurt, fresh fruit, juices and local pastries. Unfortunately I am gluten free and as there were no available rolls/bread ready to eat -so I had to wait half an hour until the next batch of gluten free bread rolls was prepared in the kitchen. Also some of the breakfast trays and cutlery were not clean! This unfortunately delayed our journey somewhat.
I have stayed at seven Ibis properties, so far, on a six week visit to France and this location is the worst for a tourist. The staff was friendly and resolved a reservation confusion. But the facility is best for business travelers who need to be in ouest Nimes. Food service at the hotel is below average and the two neighboring restaurants have very poor service.
Average Ibis. Was slightly better than the avarage. OK. Was not offered the free drink (silver card). Parking was good. Without GPS quite difficult to find, but close to the autoroute. Good for an overnight stay.
Nice quiet Hotel, next to the Motorway A9 . Close to an Industrial Park. Easy & Free Parking. Small room , but comfortable bed. Bathroom clean. Staff helpful. Breakfastbuffet on a Sunday morning only until 10.00 a.m. However we got a late Breakfast.
Arrived at this hotel to savour the countryside and its people. The welcome at the front desk was very pleasant and with such wonderful smiles from the young lady on duty - a good arrival makes a stay great. I found the room a little small but to be honest I was only in there to sleep so I don't mind! The restaurant wasn't open but there was a suggestion and discount to eat at the Buffalo grill - that was a first for me and I did so on both evenings Breakfast in morning was relaxed and unhurried - I took the opportunity to eat outside. I found the staff very helpful and respectfully laid back I would return here.
This was a one night stop to take in Nimes Olympique's last home match of the season; the Stade des Costieres is within walking distance. This hotel is clean and welcoming and has been decorated in the last 12 months. It is easy to find from the motorway and well placed for stocking up on fuel etc at the nearby Carrefour. Wifi is good and staff are helpful.
A very friendly reception. One felt at home straight away. Staff were eager to help with any questions and I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, from my arrival, through dinner, a comfortable nights sleep, till my breakfast and checkout the next day.. Would definitely stay again.
A perfect last stop on the long route through France into Spain the Ibis at Nimes. Clean rooms , good facilities and helpful staff. if you are like us travelling with dogs- Ibis is very welcoming and there are plenty of local facilities for meals and walks. The room rate is compeditive and you are 10 mins off the motorway.
Very near to motorway exit on route from Spain to UK, Hotel was easy to find near restaurants. Staff were very accommodating and spoken good english. Breakfast was OK and pretty standard IBIS fare. would stay here again.
24 hr free secure parking (ie gates only opened for entry/exit). Although it's opposite a peaje & our room faced this, it was an extremely quite hotel thus ensuring a good nights sleep. 5 mins drive to Nimes centre (very nice city, lots to see). Very comfy bed (as in all ibis). Would definitely stay in this hotel again if in area. Only drawback to our stay was lift was out of action for the 4 days we were there which involved carrying our luggage up & down the stairs although a chambermaid did very kindly offer to help.
This is the second or third time we have used this hotel as a convenient stopover when driving back to the UK from southern Spain. It is well situated near the motorway, the rooms are comfortable (especially the beds) and the staff very friendly & helpful. The only disadvantage is that you have to walk out to get dinner but there are plenty of nearby restaurants.
This was our first visit to Nimes and we were delighted with the old part of the city, especially "The Arenes" and the Jardins de la Fontaine. A very pleasant surprise, we will return to explore further.
The night before our stay at the Ibis in Nimes we stayed at the Ibis in Valencia which was excellent. The Ibis Nimes is a disgusting hotel. Thank goodness we had only one night there otherwise we would not have stopped. The reception staff were rude and challenged details of our booking, I had to point out that I had emailed the details twice and they never answered. The reception and restaurant areas are dirty and badly in need of decoration. The pool area likewise. The bedroom was so small it was ridiculous. The end of the bed was practically touching the one wall and the sides of the bed the other 2 walls, making it virtually impossible to move around the room, let alone store a suitcase. The bathroom, well a wardrobe in most hotels would be bigger! The only plus point is that the hotel does have secure parking, but we saw a few other hotels in the same area with secure parking and regretted the decision to stay at the Ibis for that reason. I am just about to cancel a booking at the Ibis Perpignan, in case it is like the Ibis Nimes, couldn't face that experience again after an 8 hour drive.
Loved our stay! The staff were wonderful and we were very happy with our room and the hotels' location. Parking facilities were very good and our hire car was secure during our stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to other family and friends.
Stayed here for two nights. Room very comfortable. Service from reception and room staff was excellent, nothing too much trouble. Sited on an estate with many other hotels, bit far for walking into town centre, but excellent for motorway access,
