Staff, reception, breakfast were excellent. Bedroom very comfortable clean and tidy. The only downside was the bathroom which needed tender loving care. The sealant around top of bath was pealing away and black and there was a hole in the bath panel.
We had a one night stop-over on the way to the Dordogne. The hotel was extremely convenient, just off the A1. It was quiet (despite closeness to the motorway), clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
We stayed here after visiting Limoges city centre on our way back from the airport. Excellent & friendly welcome all very professional & fast. We went for a short walk with the dog, the weather was unseasonably cool. We had an fantastic dinner & the room was as ever clean & very comfortable, Breakfast was the as usual with the addition of bacon with made my day.
I was just driving from Paris to Toulouse and need a break in between. Just booked this hotel with points and it is surpringly good and the staff were very friendly. The room is the normal standard for Ibis, but it was clean and tidy.
A one-night stay here. We arrived late (23:00) and the night receiptionist was a little disinterested. Room was fine if a little small. Next morning, a new receptionist was far more friendly and welcoming, as were the restaurant staff. Good breakfast food choice. But we did notice a lack of fruit compared with more southern Ibis Hotels - the Ibis Sisteron and Ibis Valbonne had a larger and more varied fruit bowl.
Very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Superb breakfast from 6:30 - 10:00. Free WiFi. Friendly staff. Everything you could want for an overnight stop. Would use again. Room a little small if you are staying longer. Would have liked another powerpoint or two.
The rooms are ridiculously small even compared to the Ibis standard size. The bathrooms are urgently needing renovation. Toilets are incredibly low and in one of the rooms the plastic protection where you seat was too big for the toilet turning your seating experience into a very unpleasant one. Tubs are too high which is dangerous both when you get in and out. The tub floor was so narrow that, trying not to slip, we had to have one foot in front of the other. We aren't willing to return.
This was booked as a mid location break, between Paris and Toulouse. It is just of the motorway and easy to find situated in an industrial area surrounded by other hotels and places to eat. Checkin was very welcoming, with a lovely friendly English speaking lady who made our stay memorable. She suggested some easy tourist locations in Limoges to see in the remaining few hours of daylight. Wished we had more time to explore the city. Hotel typical Ibis style with a restaurant, and outside area next to large free carpark. Hotel is a bit dated, and could do with a makeover ( they have already done restaurant and reception areas ) but rooms were showing age, although clean and sleep was good. Working lift and air conditioning. Wifi good but became overloaded after more people started to use it. Smoking rooms on top floor at back. Would stay here again.
We stayed one night on a trip from Carcassonne to Caen, for a ferry to the UK. The room was good with comfy pillows and duvet. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in an Ibis hotel. Weel cooked scambled eggs and bacon. Will use again.
the room we stayed in when i opened the door smelt very stale and cigarrette smoke. As an ex smoker I found this hard to deal with. In the room there was limited electrical sockets and in fact only one that the TV as plugged into to. As I have to use an CPap machine as i have sleep apnoea this was interesting. Overall the staff were okay but did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
We have always had great service with no problems on the numerous occasions we have stayed at any of the Ibis hotels. The staff are always willing to help. On our last stay at Limoges Nord, what a surprise at breakfast time ... Bacon and scrambled eggs .... fantastic. We always have a good nights sleep as the beds are exceptionally good. Will look forward to our next visit !!!!
Having stayed here numerous times, it is always nice to return. The staff are efficient and polite, the rooms are clean and comfortable And the location is good for both the motorway and Limoges centre.
This property has a posh lobby and coffee bar, but the rooms are back in time before other Ibis hotels were upgraded. Clean but very simple. Staff we very kind and helpful. I would stay again but the rooms need a makeover.
Excellent overnight stop. All the most important things were good - comfortable big bed, good shower, controllable heating, nice buffet breakfast. Reception staff very pleasant. Big bonus was the wonderful Leon de Bruxelles restaurant with its mussel menu a short walk away. Will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is very convenient to the Motorway and was well as having food available in the Hotel has plenty of local restaurants which are open on a Sunday evening. Good facilities for a one night stay.
Tired after a long journey, we were given a really welcoming reception, friendly and efficient staff, well organised, English spoken Large car park, located near the motorway but no intrusive noise even with the window open. We opted for the Menu du Jour which was well priced and most enjoyable; we also splashed out on a very nice bottle of wine! Room was clean and fresh, value for money. Breakfast - presentation excellent, good choice of food replenished as required without asking. Dog friendly of course - no designated exercise area but adequate on-lead/off road space. Recommend.
A nice hotel, well located specially for people travelling and for a one-night stay. Good facilities around: supermarket, restaurants, gas station. Overall a very comfortable stay after a long day ride.
Easy to find, good clean hotel with friendly staff. Good food both in house and adjacent restaurants. Good aircon. Open parking, not secure. Adjacent busy main road but not intrusive as double glazing very effective. Tea/coffee available in restaurant but drink making facilities in room would be nice!!
I chose this hotel as I had never driven the roads of France before and this is located at the side of the motorway. We were made very welcome and the receptionist showed off her English. We were slightly earlier than the check in time, but the staff rushed around to get the room ready for us. The room was as expected. Very clean and airy, with heating and air conditioning. There is a tv and thats it. There are no tea or coffee making facilities, but that didn't matter as you could get these anytime in the reception area. You can see when you look outside at the other hotels that the Ibis had made an effort with the grounds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Staff will go out of their way to please their customers, Only draw back would be the size of the TV which being small size caused the image to be unclear or funny looking ;-) But overall, thank you for this nice stay
