We were four people in two rooms and every was fine - friendly people at the front desk, not very big rooms but everything needed was there - and we had room for our luggage. And the hotel is placed completely in the city centre so it is very easy to walk to shops and restaurants.
We checked in as mentioned good location. When going to sleep the matress was not like advertisement about the ibis bed. It was terrible no back support. And we opened the window for fresh air. All night mosquitoes buzzing my ear. No sleep
Great location, right in the heart of the city and with the Tram service almost right outside the door. The Hotel itself is in need of a refurbishment, but as ever with IBIS the service is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and linen are clean and the beds comfortable, so two good night's sleep were had.
I just stayed one night in this hotel, but staffs were professional and services were good. I'm quite satisfied that I chose Ibis Grenoble Center...Next time,I'll still choose this hotel...Thanks.....
This hotel is clean, personnel is friendly and (always) ready to help. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are relatively small (even for French paradigms) and not the last stand. For (much) less money one could find similar quality in small hotels in Grenoble. Location is very convenient.
Very easy to get to on the tram from the station, welcoming staff, small but well equipped room. Booked directly with hotel and got a great deal including breakfast and tickets on the cablecar, which was within walking distance. Really, for an overnight stop you can't go wrong!
The hotel's car park was full, so parked in the road at the front, which was probably cheaper too. Some great restaurants within a short walk. Hotel reception comfy, the rooms were fine and very friendly and helpful staff.
For the price, this is an excellent hotel. The rooms are smallish and the entrance to the parking is very tight, but everything works well and the location is great for the city centre. The breakfast was very good. This was my second stay in the same hotel.
This hotel is not qualified as a 3-star hotel because there is no essential facilities that should be available in a 3-star hotel including fridge, kettle, coffee, tea, safe locker, face towel, facial tissue paper, shower soap etc. in the hotel room. The bath towels are yellowish in colour and look very old. Staff was undertrained because they were unfriendly and impatience when I try to ask some questions due to their lack of competency in English language. I have no choice but to speak in English because I do not know how to speak French, but they should have tried to be helpful rather than showing me their impatience, angry and arrogant attitudes.
I've shared a room with a friend for 3 nights. It was a nice stay. Beds are not big. The second bed is actually hidden behind a sort of built-in office desk which they bend down to become a real bed. It was very confortable though! Moreover, the breakfast was very nice and staff was very kind. I recommend for a fast business trip.
Staff friendly and helpful. We had issues with our car and they were able to help organise support. Rooms clean and service good. Grenoble Ibis was clean and located well for the shops and sightseeing.
I had the most errible time... the elevator did not work, so had to climb up several levels just to get to the check in desk! There was no FOOD SERVICE, and the entrance smelled bad! I had no idea this hotel could be so bad compatred to the great time I stayed at an IBIS in Marseille. I had worked all day and drove up from Sete. So I was not happy at all with this hotel. The night stay was over 130 euros and not worth it! DO NOT STAY HERE.
The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of the Grenoble Centre. The room are very comfortable and clean. The room are very quite during the night. The service staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good. although a bit expensive
We requested a quiet room, away from noise. We were given a very noisy room near a lot of street noise. Too noisy to keep the window open. Insufficient air in the room to keep the window closed. Had intended to say five nights, but given the very poor state of this hotel we left after one night.
nice hotel, but a few issues, the elevator stopped working 1 week before I left, so for the rest of the stay, Ihad to use the stairs (66 steps) at least twice a day. Normally this would not be an issue, but carrying luggage up and down was difficult (I have a bad knee). Also there was no laundry service, for a 3 week stay, this was an issue. Would be better if some sort of dinner was availalbe. Lots of noise in the erly morning wit ha garbage truck emptying cans.
Excellent location in the center of Grenoble, France. Clean and good price/services ratio. Covered parking. Clean and good beds in silent rooms. Friendly personnal. Good for business and/or tourisme in Grenoble.
We needed a stop-over on the way to Provence so we thought about Grenoble, we have stayed there for a week a few years ago & it was a good., However when I have back to places I have enjoyed I have been disappointed, not so Grenoble, this time I regretted not staying longer. The Ibis Hotel is bang in the middle of the city, you would struggle to get a better location.
We last stayed in this hotel in 1983. Since then the road system in Grenoble has changed and it was hard to find the hotel which is now in a cul de sac and can be approached only by driving along part of the new tramway, which can be quite scary. Once the car was garaged and we were checked in our room was the usual clean, if basic, that you expect from Ibis and the beds were extremely comfortable. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful although the bar had, no tonic water; the choices with gin were either lemonade or soda water both of which were understandably declined! There was also a very small selection of digestifs when we returned from dinner. At breakfast several platters needed to be replenished and no one seemed to be keeping an eye on this although it was well before the end of breakfast time. We had to wait for the receptionist to checkout a couple of guests before she could go to the kitchen to raise the member of staff whose job it was. Some meat and cheese was then brought out by an unsmiling person but no more crepes or tortilla were forthcoming. This was not a problem for us but might have been for other guests wanting warm food.
Stayed at Ibis Grenoble, located in the centrum. Its a good location. But one has to take two lifts to get to your room. 1st one to reception and 2nd one to the rooms. Its a very basic budget hotel. And does not match Tata's budget chain called "Ginger". They should place trolleys as its self check in with no bell boys. Breakfast ould be included in the room rate and the per person rate is very steep comparinf with the brakfast menu at Mc Donalds which is next door to Ibis. The size of the rooms is far too small. Especiall the queen bed as they call - does not take two persons comfortably. Ibis should in fact study Ginger in India and introduce all that they offer.
Good clean hotel. Good location, tram station right outside the hotel. Reception is open 24hrs. Comfortable large bed. Extra bed option within the room is good. The reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
