There was a bit of a mix-up with my booking, which caused initial disappointment - but Jean Baptiste on reception managed to rescue the situation , leaving me happy with the experience overall. The rooms are very good, probably larger than most in the Ibis group.

Another great stay in Ibis Centre Comedie. The staff is really nice and very helpful. Our room was on level 4 and was very clean. A short stay in Montpellier, but we always choose this hotel as the location is convenient.

Had a wonderful evening at Montpellier Centre Comedie. The Ibis Centre Comedie was perfectly located, in the centre of the hustle and bustle, a walking distance from the best pubs and restaurants in Montpellier. Spacious rooms -- one of the best Ibis properties we have experienced.

We stayed for 4D3N in this hotel, it is comfortable and has a great location. Elevator exit at floor "0" brings you right out to the street level. The Polygone Galleries Lafayette and the tourist inform centre are literally a stone throw away. We walked through the historical part of town and there's the tram if you get too tired of walking. Do take note that this hotel do not provide a safe, kettle/tea/coffee, mini fridge, iron/ironing board. The bathroom toiletries are basic: 1 bottle of head to toe wash, 1 towel/pax and toilet paper. Rather basic for an ACCOR hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located, only three minutes walking from the City centre. Is is a pretty hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and pretty, however their staff can be more helpful. We had a coup,e of small requests, the initial response in both cases was no and after insisting they have accepted. Given the requests were not extraordinary why not being helpful from the beginning?

Ideally located just of Place de Comedie, few minutes from trams & adjacent to shopping centre & the main square in the City. Recently refurbished and rooms are unusually large for Ibis hoteld. Our room had a Queen sized double plus a sofa bed, which was a decent size & easy to put up/away. Good air-conditioning, great shower, excellent buffet breakfast & nice little bar. Special mention must go to the young female member of staff who did the breakfasts. She was extremely efficient, friendly & welcoming. Have stayed here before & will do so again.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the centre of city and adjacent to the old town. The room was very spacious, clean, soundproof with a nice view as well. Staff were very helpful in organising a change in further hotel bookings

Complements to the evening shift staff, very nice and willing to help out. Also the security with the dog made us feel very safe. Room was fine, but it was hard to regulate the temperature. In the evening early night it was ok, but in the middle of the night and in the morning it was quite warm.

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and the location is very good, near to the main square of Montpellier (Place de Comedie) and right beside to a shopping mall. Many of the main attractions are in walking distane. The price is slightly 'bitter' in weekdays.

This is the second year running that my husband and I have stayed for a week in this hotel at the start of the New Year - that in itself shows how much we enjoyed it. We are great fans of the ibis chain of hotels, choosing them wherever possible for our frequent stays in France, and the one at Montpellier Centre Comédie is our favourite of them all. Reception staff - As soon as we arrived, we had a warm and efficient welcome from Sébastien on the reception desk, who thoughtfully arranged for us to have adjoining rooms and he even came and immediately unlocked the communicating doors between them for us. He and all the staff on reception were a delight during our stay, and nothing was too much trouble for them. As we went out in the mornings, we asked at reception if they could ensure that our rooms were cleaned by 1pm when we planned to return, and every day the rooms were ready as requested. That is certainly not something we take for granted, given our experience at other hotels. The reception staff also ran the bar in the lounge, and were friendly and efficient at getting us hot chocolate on our return from dinner each evening. Their pleasant, welcoming service set the tone for a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and made us feel personally cared-for. Bedrooms - The rooms are very spacious - exceptionally so, for an ibis hotel - with plenty of room for a 2-seater sofa and low table in addition to the wide double bed. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, a hallmark of ibis hotels. The bathrooms were equipped with showers that worked consistently well. Clean towels each day if you wanted, or there was the option to re-use your towels if you wanted to be environmentally-friendly. Sound-proofing was obviously effective, as we heard no noise from other rooms at all. Efficient heating/air-conditioning, which was easy to adjust (again, not something to be taken for granted). Location - Very central, between the central Place de la Comédie and the Polygone shopping centre. Within a few minutes of many central restaurants, shops, and the historic Old Town. Nearby is a grassy 'Esplanade', with trees and flower-beds. There are 4 tram-lines which serve all areas of Montpellier and the outskirts, including Route 1 (a few minutes from the hotel) which goes to the Odysseum Commercial Centre (with restaurants and shops) about 1/4 hour away from the city centre. This hotel is in an ideal location. We love it and will return.

Selected this IBIS fr a one night stay. Was really impressed with it. Room size excellent and staff very helpful. Convenient parking which we needed and central location to access all parts of Montpellier. Bar food service was good as well.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is right in the centre but is not easy to find your way to it from the station, there is another Ibis before it and most people end up there first. The room was very good value and very comfortable and the double glazing kept the street noise out. There are plenty of places for breakfast and dinner round the hotel. To get a feel for the city have a trip on the tourist train as it covers all the main areas. We would stay here again if in Montpellier.

We loved the location of this hotel. The rooms were nice and renovated. Reasonable price. No safety deposit box in the room but you can secure things at the front desk. Walking distance to anywhere you want to go in Montpellier. Would recommend.

the location and quality/price for this IBIS is great. note that when you arrive by car you go to parking TRIANGLE, level -2 with direct access to the hotel, make sure you get the weekend rate from reception!

With a door straight onto Place de la Comedie, this is the place to stay in Montpellier. There is another Ibis very close by so you have to be very careful to locate the correct carpark - the one for the Triangle building. Despite the location right in the heart of the city, the rooms are fairly quiet. The bed was really comfortable.

The Ibis Centre Comedie is an ideal city centre hotel, it is an Ibis so you think you know what you will be getting, but alas the rooms are slightly bigger. Staff wise the reception were incredable as well as the breakfast crew. If I visit the hotel again I would prefer to arrive by TGV or plane, the road network in Montpellier is a nightmare, however I did get to see plenty of the city, that said the car park was good. Montpellier is a great City for a weekend break & the hotel puts you bang in the middle.

This hotel is located on complicated roads and tunnels which are not for pedestrians and reception is on the -1 floor. ( I arrived at midnight from MPL airport by Taxi; approx.35euros(25euros in the daytime)) It's hard to find entrance if you come from the Place de la Comédie by foot. The room is spacious enough with queen-size bed, sofabed and a desk but there's no bathtub, mirror for make-up, fridge and kettle. Only one shampoo for whole body & hair so, if you's better to bring your shampoo & conditioner for hair, and toothbrush & toothpaste. You can dry some laundry with air conditioner. A few minutes walk to Polygone shopping mall from pathway(a door) in the 0 floor, so if you need water or some, you can get them at supermarket in Polygone. And you can eat some at Polygone until 8 or 9:30 at night as well. Only one problem was breakfast...I reserved 6nights without breakfast but a receptionist told me "It's free" on the day when I arrived, so I belived it's Accor members' courtesy...but when I checked out, the other unkind receptionist told me "actually it's not free!" I was embarrassed. Finally male receptionist told me "It's okay, Don't worry." so I was relieved though... Assess comprehensively,it's located in central, close to The Place de la Comédie so you can come back for bathroom break easily during shopping and room is spacious & clean, breakfast (several cereals, breads, yoghurt, cakes, cookies, Comte cheese, ham, fruits and some drinks) worths to try! ;) so I think it's convenient for a few days' stay depending on your aim of visit. I enjoyed Montpellier and Antigone enough! j'adore Montpellier.

Drilling taking place: should have been told when booking. Minimalistic: no tea-making, no paper handkerchiefs, etc. Dismal prospect over offices. Good shower, and nice room. Plenty of space, which was good.

More than the typical room, this Ibis is a class act. Great location, good staff. Couch in the room was a plus, not expected, although the shower/bath facilities were common to Ibis red hotels. Montpellier is a great town for the tourist.

Good hotel with a location invidiabiel to the city center, easily accessible and offers free underground parking on site. All Montpellier at hand. Rooms comfortable and spacious, staff friendly and polite. Certainly recommended.
