Wow, what a change this friendly hotel has gone through since it is now named Ibis Styles. The colour schemes and the rooms are brilliant. I will stay here more often when I visit the area by car. Parking is easy. Friendly staff. My late arrival from Paris at 23:00 was not an issue. In fact there was a minor problem with my credit card but I was handed my key and told this can be sorted out in the morning. Next morning I met the owner Dagmar who skilfully addressed the problem I and stayed 3 nights. Breakfast is in the price and there is a lovely corner for children to serve themselves with a small stool to reach the cereals and bread. Love to bring my grandchildren here. Returning next week as I like this place and the staff.
stylish hotel with not practicable features one small elevator only for 44 rooms cleaning up of the room was missing one day small cups only for tea and/or coffee without cup plates breakfast room sufficient for a third of the hotel guests only
This quiet and cosy hotel has a very good price/quality ratio with excellent breakfast, pleasant room accommodation and non-obvious facilities like a free-of-charge covered parking lot, possibility of hiring bikes, free access to E-mail etc. On top of that, staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Easy access to düsseldorf hbf. also at walking distance to Neuss hbf. rooms are clean and the staff are friendly, breakfast is good, rooms are cleaned everyday, during our stay the hotel was full so it was a bir noisy at nights but it was not a big deal
The hotel looks very good and clean entrance is nice and people at the desk are very kind. After check in we went to our room and in the bathroom you find a hilarious small washing table (this is something I remember from my years as a kid in kindergarten were they also had such a small washingtables) they are too small to use for an adult . Then there is the regulator of heuting in the bathroom this is placed above the door on a hight of maybe a 2.5 meters, this was even for me difficult to set on and my wife who is Italian could not reach it without using a chair. During the night the lights from the street did shine into our bedroom because you cannot close the curtains completely at the side there was alway comming light from the sides and because the bed is situated on a place where you can see behind these curtains the light is shining directly in your face
Quiet place, navigator Garmin provides without mistakes to the hotels door. no extras for parking, friendly polite staff, kinder play ground room. Clean room, good smell, fast check in and out. Exclusive for business travellers.
hotel in a business area thus in the middle of nowhere after 6 pm, old concrete building just receiving ibis styles colors but not the real spirit and comfort, a lot of noise from the corridors and bathrooms, too expensive - should be Ibis budget instead
A cosy and convenient hotel with more than all necessary service including parking place, rich breakfast, silent setting, proximity to Neuss' Globe Theatre and, last but not least, friendly staff. Recommended for direct booking or via e.g. booking.com
My husband & I stayed at the Ibis Styles on 10th & 11th May and found the hotel to be clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room could have had an air conditioner or fan as the days we stayed there were pretty warm and we had to have the window open wide most of the time to get a bit of a breeze. The hotel is quite a distance from town although the tram line is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There could also be a bit more of a variety for breakfast. The hotel could also benefit from having a vending machine that dispenses crisps/chocolates/snacks as there are no supermarkets or corner shops near to the hotel.
The hotel located at offices area and not far away from Neuss Stadhalle / Museum, 20 minutes with the TRAM to city center (TRAM no. 709 and make sure you have some coins EURO cents to pay the tram ticket) and 15 minutes walk to shopping area nearby Neuss stad. A simple breakfast and a free corner for tea/coffee. The standard family suite with 2 connecting rooms are a good idea for us, 2 adult and 2 teenagers. What I like the most from this hotel were actually this family suite, even it’s a simple room with TV, shower/toilette, and WIFI. Interesting part is a free parking. I’m enjoying my Düsseldorf city trip indeed and this hotel good for a short visit.
There's plenty of charm here. The rooms all have a sort of . . kitsch? . . theme, which I think helps tremendously in distinguishing it from the competition. Other pluses: free breakfast, free wifi, clean room and bathroom, working hdtv with hdmi inputs and lots of tv channels, and phenomenal staff. Downsides: the hotel is a little out of the way, so expect to do a decent amount of walking to get to or from the city proper.
Convenient located for day trips to Dusseldorf through use of the "Strassenbahn". Staff is very helpfull with idea's and suggstions. Rooms are OK, but sleeping with open windows is difficult because of a busy road closeby.
I personnaly have been in a so called family studio - two rooms that are linked - very useful for families; The parking is free of charge but it's an outdoor parking. The staff was very polite; The hotel is easy to find.
The beds was a little hard. Breakfast was okay but not great. Only a kilometers walk to the towncenter and a lot of restaurants. Nice and friendly in the reception. Easy to find from the highway.......
We stayed 2 nights in a family room while visiting the Xmas markets of Cologne and Dusseldorf. The location of the hotel is good, not far from the highway and in the same time on walking distance from the center of Neuss where you have some good places to have diner. The family room consists of two rooms connected with an internal door. It is a very useful solution for a family with children. The breakfast was very good, not many but qualitative products - ham, cheese, cornflakes, croissants. Worth's mentioning the smoothy and good espresso/ cappuccino. I value the service as very good - fast service, the receptionist was friendly and recommended us a good restaurant. There is a parking next to the hotel. Strongly recommended hotel!
stay here once every year, we drive and there is always ample parking. rooms basic but lovely and clean , staff friendly and helpful, it is just a short walk to the tram , and there is a regular service into Dusseldorf, which is a great place to visit. Breakfast is good value, lots of choice. My only moan would be that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, however the hotel does provide these in the foyer for free until 10pm.
The road going through the Park to/from the tram station during night time seems not feeling safe , too dark lighting and easy to hide, in case people come to you asking for money, you don't have much choice.
very good value for money no problem to be reported fairly unexpensive refursbished very recently very good value for money very good value for money very good value for moneyvery good value for money
Very enjoyable stay, the facilities were more than acceptable for the price and the breakfast was very good. At first the hotel seemed a bit out of the way for a non-driver but there is a little thoroughfare just a couple of blocks down which takes you out close to the tram stop (704 and 709) into central Dusseldorf. Neuss itself is also a nice town to explore.
