Well positioned to reach all city attractions and most within walking distance. Easy (pay) parking and close to walk to city centre. Continental breakfast had good basic selection and staff helpful. Only downside was no tea/coffee facilities in room. Rooms small and no family rooms available so not suitable for families who need to share.
The rooms were very small and it was very basic. Enough to sleep, shower, and get ready. No coffee in the rooms just tea. Beds were very comfy!! Staff was very pleasant! Parking lot was not very convenient. Had to haul luggage up five flights of stairs.
To be fair, we came in at 3 am and left at 0900. Road construction was going on in front of motel. Parking ramp was really tight. Building and motel very old. Small room. Didn't try food but cafe looked good and newer.
We are self-drive, a parking with charge. Only had an one night stay. Very comfortable and roomy bedroom. Not too far from Cathedrale Norte Dame d' Amiens. Good area for shopping & dinning, many shope & resturants near by.
We have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions, whilst not exactly in the centre of Amiens, it is only a short walk to the centre. You get the usual good value for money with this hotel, but the breakfast is too expensive which should be around 6 euros, we always used to have breakfast but we now go to a local bar.
If you are booking an Ibis expecting anything flash you will be disappointed, but for a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced option in Amiens this hotel was fine. It's about a 7-10 minute walk from the Cathedral and on a uninspiring main road. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The parking does not have lift access so drop your bags at check in, and the car park is very tight I wouldn't want to be driving a 4WD around it.
Return stay started with the room having a ceiling light hanging from ceiling. Would have to wait 3 hours for repair man so changed rooms hence not getting the 15 min promise of free room. Air conditioning was also turned off due to a power problem which was to be repaired that day but after a very hot and sleepless night we were told it would not be getting fixed. Again no 15 min promise given. Staff friendly, good parking, breakfast good but go early or very little is ready and you have to wait for bread etc to be topped up sparingly. We paid full money for this stay but 2 weeks after booking could have got it £30 cheaper. Alot when you have 2 rooms. Good value at cheaper price.
On site parking most difficult because it is 3rd floor underground and narrow access. Had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs as garage has no lift.we are in our 70s. After driving nearly 400 miles we arrived at reception at 17.00 and was told we couldn't eat in the restaurant as their was a 120 person party. So we had to settle for a bar meal as there were no alternative restaurants nearby. In our shower room (606) the pull up sink plug didn't work so we couldn't fill the sink. Overall the worst experience we have had; we have used Accor hotels for several years.
Not the most up-to-date hotel and in need a bit of redecorating, but centrally placed, excellent staff and clean rooms with excellent beds. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the cathedral, and only 5 minutes to the shopping areas. Good bar and restaurant on site too.
The reception staff welcomed us, we then went to our room which was very small, a pity. Bathroom was fine. The breakfast/bar area could do with a makeover, brown windows, brown chairs, brown tables made it look very drab, however the breakfast was very good but felt we were under constant scrutiny of the breakfast staff which made us feel uncomfortable. The hotel was quite central and easy walking distance of the Xmas market and the Cathedral. There is underground parking available at 8 euros per night which is not on their website.
The Hotel was excellent with the town & Christmas market less than 5 minutes away, a bit disappointed that the restaurant was close in the evening, but we dined in town. The secure car park was also a great bonus, we will be going back again.
A disgrace. Barely able to get my suitcase into the room. Feeling claustrophobic then go to the bar where the service is deplorable. Book a double get 2 singles and try to argue you way up. If all else fails try sleeping on the footpath befor e going here.
i was a little misled by the "cathedral" tag, thought it was near the cathedral, but it was a little far off, and had to walk a bit, but it was fun. I city was interesting and the hotel was walking from the hotel around the city was a good exercise
We arrived around wight in the morning after an overnight ferry crossing. We were very tired, the staff went out of their way to find us a room, even though the hotel had been full the previous night.
We stayed at this Hotel so we could visit Amiens Cathedral for which it is very convenient. Breakfast was good and it was excellent value for money. Wi-fi is free and was easy to get connected. Parking was easy but unload your bags before you park in the underground car park
It was a good quality hotel, good sized room, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom, and only a short walk to the city centre. The staff were not overly helpful with car parking so we left our car in the street but had to move it at 9:00am in the morning.
Good location, very comfy beds, rather small bedrooms. Very helpful staff. Very interesting city, far more to see than just the Cathedral (which is amazing). I would recommend this hotel..............
This is a well located hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. free parking and a short walk to the city are definite bonuses. Visit the Cathedral when they use the light effects, it's magical even if you cannot understand the French commentary.
Hotel located on a very busy road. Has an underground car park round the corner which you can access before booking in. Pedestrian access is via the vehicle ramp so care needed. Although title suggests near the cathedral it is a 15minute walk away. Room was standard Ibis but a bit roomier. There are steps into the hotel and 3 steps up to the lift so anyone with a disability may struggle. Restaurant is in a British pub style though we only ate breakfast in it.
Another Ibis with great staff, good location and everything you would expect from an Ibis room. Really enjoyed my stay. Very central to Amiens centre and the Cathedral. Staff were very helpful in regards to things to see and do in Amiens as well as trying very hard with my poor French.
