We stayed for one night on our way down and way back from the south west of France. Honestly the hotel was outstanding. It is a family hotel, with so many games and things for the children to do. The staff were fantastic and friendly, food brilliant and reasonably priced for a hotel and excellent location for popping to the supermarket. Would definitely stay again.
The room was incredibly small and not practical for a family - luckily we only stayed for one night. The room was not cleaned with lots hair left the shower/bath. The floor had not been vacuumed and the room overall was not clean. Very disappointing!
Excellent over night stop on our way to Dordogne, the hotel was set up well to entertain the kids, with Swimming pool, play area and games room. Another nice touch was the gift bag given to my Daughter at check in. Buffet Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choice and excellent value for money Would strongly recommend for an over night stop with children
Everything was good except for the room air-conditioning. There's no individual room control and we found the temperature setting to be on the warm side. We had to open the windows since it's actually cooler outside when we are in the room in the evenings. The breakfast are was packed for the two days that we stayed but the staff does a good job of handling it. I enjoyed the free breakfast in this hotel. The pool is also nice but a bit chilly.
The hotel is easy to reach from the motorway and has excellent secure parking. The receptionist was welcoming and spoke good English. The rooms are large and pets are allowed. There is an attractive terrace overlooking a large swimming pool and meals and drinks can be taken on the terrace as well as the restaurant. The hotel is well sited for visits to the Chateau of the Loire.
Best Ibis I have stayed in to date, very near A10 but no traffic noise, only peaceful gardens and pool to relax in.Staff excellent, rooms could not be faulted. Very helpful staff and very spacious hotel. Would stay there again if in the area.Good base to explore Tours.
The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, rooms and food all work well. The times we have used this hotel it has always remained consistent. We shall certainly return .It all offers fair value for money
We only spent one night in this hotel, but we found it excellent. From the tea and coffee on arrival, to the friendly and helpful staff, the tasty breakfast and dinner, Wifi throughout - it suited us perfectly. We will be back!
This is probably the Best Ibis Hotel in France - in our opinion! Cheerful staff, cheerful atmosphere, professional care, good food, good value for money. Look no further. We have stayed here several times between the Channel and SW France - and we will do so again.
Unfortunately, we were not helped by the on-going road works, so having turned off the motorway into Chambray, we were forced to drive round every one of the Industrial estate roads to actually find the hotel!! having arrived eventualy, the usual warm welcome into what seems like a brand new hotel. Beautifully clean and laid out, our room was fine although I had booked a double, we had three beds in there! Good bathroom with reasonable shower and plenty of towels. Not too far to walk for some supper in the multi-various range of restaurants although the Hotel now has its own. Breakfast was reasonable although the manageress seemed more interested in giving the trainee her impression of a dictator!!
We were struck at just how friendly and helpful the staff on reception and in the resturant . We had a delious dinner in the resturant. The facitlies exceeded our expectations. The design/theme of the hotel is fun and full of thoughtful touches. The hotel was in a good location for exploring the chateau's of the Loire Valley. Well done!
A good place for an overnight stop on a drive through France. Small swimming pool handy for a quick dip. Facilities typical of a more basic Novotel (which it was previously). Other restaurants available in the surrounding edge-of-city commercial district if not eating in.
about 5 hours from Calais this is a fab hotel. Clean with great facilities. Food is good value and breakfast gives you are good foundation to travel on southwards Only down side was the glasses of were embarrassingly small.
Unusual situation which made it all the more surprising, this is a real oasis. The garden and pool were so welcome after along drive thoroughly recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, nice comfortable bed, bedroom good size and comfy particularly like the the bathroom.
Room, reception and breakfast excellent. Evening dinner not value for money and not very good. Ordered omelette it came kids portioned size and burnt, no salad or garnish and a few limp chips. Asked for burger well done and it wasn't (daughter could not eat it). Cheeseboard 3 slices of cheese. Third time at this hotel and I always order the same thing. This time the quality was awful. Only 1 chef working and I think this was the problem. Disappointed.
Convenient place to stop on the journey to or from the south. Excellent carpark. Rooms tired and a bit on the small side. Staff very helpful. Restaurant and breakfast as you would expect from Ibis, but breakfast included in the booking price.
Great hotel in good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and was great that it was a dog friendly hotel so that he could come in to the restaurant for Dinner and breakfast. The style of the rooms and public areas was fantastic
This is a pleasant and welcoming hotel, all staff were very eager to please. The Restaurant was of a good standard although fairly basic. Room and cleanliness were exceptional with good quality beds and furnishings. We would stay here again without hesitation.
Stayed here for one night on our way down to the Dordogne. Very clean and comfortable, lovely bed, superb shower, very attentive and helpful staff, food delicious. Booked dinner, bed and breakfast option so no hassle finding somewhere to eat. Well worth it. As an added bonus, the Fijian Rugby Sevens were staying. Wonderful sight watching them train in the pool while we ate breakfast;-)))
I was very impressed by the warm greeting and helpfulness when I arrived at the hotel. The room was excellent and I liked the inner hall way with the separate WC before entering the main bedroom and ensuite. TV was good but the Wifi a little erratic at times. Liked the free coffee and tea facility in the main lobby. The bar was pleasant and served with courtesy. Dinner was excellent, which was part of my deal package, but the choice a little limited, but served by friendly and helpful staff. I had a pleasant glass of wine with the meal! Breakfast was superb and a great choice of things to have. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay which was what was needed to break up a long journey travelling down from North France. I would recommend this friendly but courteous hotel to family, friends and any traveller.
