We were very pleased with our stay. Very comfortable beds and ultra clean rooms and bathrooms. The choice of food non the menu was ideal, there was good choice. In addition, a pretty garden and terrace with a swimming pool as well was ideal for us. The hotel staff were charming, especially the bar and restaurant staff. The hotel is about 5 mikes from the centre of Nancy and very quiet.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Tiny separate loo. Bedroom paintwork chipped. We took half board package but meal choice is very limited but good value. Swimming pool water clean but tiling around pool deck in need of repairs. Good breakfast. Fast check in and out. Convenient to main route to south of Nancy and near commercial outlets.
We travelled with two younger kids. The rooms are perfect to stay in one room with the compleet family. Baby bed was already present in the room. Staff is very helpful and the restaurant is perfect for a mean. The location is very nice with a shopping area next to it. Also their are multiple restaurants in the direct neighbourhood.
The hotel was easy to find and only a 10 minute drive from the centre. The family room was clean, a good size and with a double and two singles ideal for our family. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. Nancy was a great location and the light show in the main square was amazing. We will stop over at the ibis next year also on the way to the Alps.
We stayed in this hotel on an overnight stop on our way back from Austria - we have stayed here before 2 years ago. We were in Room 158 - if we were to stay here again we would want a room on the top floor so that we did not have people running and thumping above our heads. The carpets in Room 158 do need a good clean - in fact we did not want to walk on them without anything on our feet (we made a similar comment last time we stayed here, in another room, and perhaps this is something that management do need to take a look at). The breakfast included in the price was good plenty of choice and a toaster brilliant - the staff were very efficient and cleared the tables as soon as they became empty.
This is a very good location for and overnight stop. Restaurant serves acceptable food, if a somewhat limited menu. Rooms a general clean (although carpet in some rooms requires replacement). Staff are helpful and friendly and the welcome is always good. Some rooms have been up-dated in a very modern style.
had a good nights stay at this Ibis, it has been refreshed as it was formerly a novotel. all the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpfull ( as are all staff in the Ibis hotels we have stayed in ) the room was clean, comfortable with an overbath shower which was excellent and unusually a seperate toilet. it had good access from main route on way to reims/calais. would use again if near there.
Was a Novotel last few times we stayed here and was our first experience of an Ibis Styles. Definetly won't be our last. The English lady in the restaurant was very helpful and made us feel even more welcome must have been her Irish Granny.
At the arrival the personnal was very friendly, at the bar there was a women who spoke English fluent en French. Very nice. Rooms were ok, nicely renovated, but they didn't make the choice to replace the doors inside. Squeeking and not closing well. That's 1 point less. But we occupied a family-room with 2 adults and 2 children. At other Ibis Styles hotels the children sleep seperated from the adults with a wall. At this hotel we slept all 4 in 1 room. I found it too crowdy. Breakfast was OK, but I've had better in IBIS Styles hotels. Hotel was cheap for 4 persons including breakfast, but I would have paid 10 euro's more if the breakfast would be better quality. Overall 3 stars. With better breakfast and and bunk bed with seperate wall for children it could be raised to 4 stars. .
Great place to stop off - bright, friendly with great outdoor space for dogs and kids. Our kids room was bright and funky. One gripe is that would be nice to have a fridge or kettle in the rooms, given that it costs the same as a 4 star.
A LITTLE GEM. Friendly greeting from English Caroline, French Mellissa. & all staff welcome you into a clean, well run bright and cheerful hotel.. Good food, quite, a pool and a large supermarket over the road make this an ideal stop over or short break destination.
Good place for an overnight stay on the way to Switzerland and back. Members of staff have remained for many years and give good service. However, since changing from Novotel to Ibis Styles some of the little room luxuries have gone. i.e individual soaps, shampoo & tissues which most hotels supply. However, it is still a great overnight stop.
Stopped over on way to the south. Comfortable room, friendly staff, nice breakfast with view on outdoor area where kids could play before we restarted the car journey. Also indoor play activities in the reception area for younger kids. Recommended...
