There are a lot of differences in the hotels under the brand name Ibis Styles. The Amsterdam Central Station one is a very good one: decent sized rooms for Amsterdam standards, friendly and efficient staff and a truly excellent breakfast.

first time in this ibis hotel very helpful we are hoping to stay again the breakfast was included plus a free drink at restaurant next door very central which is great when shopping so you could just nip back with your presents in stead of carrying around all day

Upon entering the hotel, it had a nice look to it and the staff were friendly. However in the bathroom of the room each time you flushed we kept getting a smell of raw sewage which was not pleasant at all. Through the night all you could hear were the water pipes and everything running through them. The shower was ridiculously small, it looks big in the picture, but when you get in it there's no room to move at all. The breakfast was very limited for choice and what there was was extremely salty. The halls of the hotel were very dim and not very clear as it all seemed to be a maze.

very typical ibis styles. rooms are small but very efficient use of room. excellent location!! very good breakfast but i feel they could delete the bagged scrambled egss, very untasty to look at. staff were all friendly from breakfast room to manager.

Location could not be better, right across from the train station and close to local attractions. Front desk and breakfast staff could not be nicer or more helpful. We had a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Overall the stay was good, though the room is a quite small but the location was perfect especially if you need to commute by the central station. Staff are helpful and polite. Breakfast was good too!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, got to choose the floor on wich our room was. Breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the main station and a lot of attractions. You can easily walk to the shoppin areas, Madame Tussauds, Anne Frank House and the Canal Boats.

Great location, close to the train station. Room is more spacious than the Ibis Budget Hotel. After staying 4 nights at Ibis Budget Hotel, the extra space was really a welcoming sight. However, room is a bit dim though. Nothing much to say about the breakfast.

I stayed one night at the Ibis Styles Amsterdam Central, my first night ever in Amsterdam. The location is perfect, less than a five minute walk from Central Station, and close to many attractions. The room was tiny but clean and well-designed. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

People were very friendly and helpful. a cross the street form the station. Beautiful place. They gave me a boucher for a free drink in the bar next door, after a very long day, that just felt so right!

Apart from the location in the city center and close to the central station which is an advantage, the hotel can be estimated as the average. Can be chosen for the short stay. Breakfast foesn't cost 15 euros, so could be eaten outside the hotel.

We had never stayed in an Ibis and were surprisingly pleased with this hotel. The room, though small, was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and had an excellent shower. WiFi worked perfectly in the room and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the train station, which has trains running to the airport every 15 minutes approx. It is also right beside the tram, metro and buses. All the canal cruises start from just across the road. It is approximately a 10 minute walk to Dam Square and most of the shopping streets are from 5 to 10 minutes walk away. Anne Frank house is a 15 to 20 minute walk and the Red Light District is about 15 minutes walk. There were also plenty of Coffee Shops nearby, if that is your thing. The cafe attached to the Hotel was ok for a drink or a coffee, but the typical cafe food was over priced. I would definitely stay here again next time in Amsterdam.

Almost no space for open the baggage, just a very very very tiny room. If you put your foot out of bed if you go into the bathroom... Bed uncomfortable and pillows even worse. Unless it is for just a day trip, it is not a recommended hotel.

We stayed here for the weekend just gone. Location was on point, close to central Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and good value for money. Breakfast was ok few more English items needed tho. Room was clean enough and check out wasn't til 12 so that was handy. Comfortable beds and our room was a family room which was big enough for me & 2 friends. Shower was lovely!

Rizwan the front desk clerk requires more training. He yelled my wife when she was asking a question regarding accommodations. The first night was a really bad experience due to Rizwan, we had to speak with the hotel manager the next morning and that took a lot of our time. Rich the hotel manager was helpful and listened to us, if it wasn't for him our stay at the IBIS would have been even worse than it was.

WE stayed for one night and it was a typical IBIS Styles Hotel in Europe - small room, comfortable bed, a nice big shower although the water pressure was a little weak. It's a 5 minute walk to the train station which was just what we needed. Good breakfast - meat, cheese, cereal, juice, coffee. We could make the room cold to sleep which is always a plus for us.

Ideal location, bright new style.Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. We had a lovely meal at Flame restaurant on site. We asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel, reception staff readily agreed, although we had been upgraded to larger room at the front overlooking the street.

Very good central, location first time there. Rooms were clear food excellent. Smaller than the ibis over the road but when you have good company the hotel has everything you need. Central to all the bars and train station for the airport.

we recently stayed at this ibis and had very good service .the rooms are large for central Amsterdam and the location perfect 30 mins to the airport by train and 100m from the station the hotel is perfectly located for all the major sights

Well located to Central Station and also the tourist spots. The room was small but adequate. The shower entry was not suitable for large people but otherwise ok except I don't think it needed a rain head as the wand was enough. A reasonable selection for the included breakfast. No view from our room but at least it was quiet. I would use this hotel again.
