Great hotel for a couple of days when visiting Antwerp (or Belgium) and only a 2 min walk to the central station. The room is basic but everything 's there. Maybe not ideal for every kind of group, since there isn't a bathroom. So when you come out of the shower, you're standing naked in the bedroom... Breakfast is good, but also basic. The staff is very friendly.

Really friendly staff, clean room that was perfectly as advertised, flexible check in times and decent check out times. Really good location, very close to the central station and were fine with us coming back late in the evening.

Wrote a complaint to the Accor / Ibis Budget group. Never got a response. It was disappointing on such level that I seriously reconsider staying with this hotel group ever again. First: We could only choose between a twin bed non-smoking room or a double bed smoking room. Weird welcome really, since I booked a double bed room (visiting as a couple) I should get a double bed room and the choice between smoking or non-smoking should be open. After all. It's what I booked. Second: The room was not clean at all. Old does not mean filthy. It didn't meet (Ibis) hotel standards. Third: A lot of noise came from the room next to ours, loud bass, loud music. We were leaving the hotel to go out so at that point we decided to let it go. But of course... When we came back at night we could already hear the music and the bass of our 'neighbour' thud in the hallways. At reception we asked the night porter to do something about it. He knocked a few times, got his master key, opened the door, shut down the music and told us there was no one there but they left the music on (?). Peculiar. When almost asleep this 'neighbour' comes back and turns the music on again, starts shouting in her phone while at it. We went downstairs to get the night porter because there was no way to get a hold of reception through telephone. He acted different: asked for the room number that was causing the disturbance and told us that he couldn't do much - it was a regular guest and they wanted her to stay a regular guest. He never came upstairs to tell her to shut the music off, he did nothing. We heard the music for hours following. Another room wasn't an option, they were fully booked. I stay at a hotel to sleep but much sleep i didn't get. We drove home the next day completely beaten and at reception no one asked or said anything about it anymore. Very nice, keeping regulars, but if you prefer keeping regulars who cause incredible noise disturbance you will loose tons of costumers that come and go - like us. Fourth: As i mentioned... I've gotten zero response from neither the hotel nor the hotel group while I did send them this complaint weeks ago.

You'll get your money's worth staying in the hotel. It will be helpful if they can provide simple directions going to the hotel from the central station using Google Maps - guests can just exit from the other end of the station and you'll immediately see Hotel Ibis. Also, surprisingly the hotel charges 2 euros per bag if you leave it in the reception.

When arriving at the hotel the receptionist was friendly and the check in was very quickly. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit cold. We put the heather on maximum while we went out but it remained a bit cold, as well during the night. But overall we were satisfied with a good price quality.

This is a budget hotel and as such you don't get the luxury you get in other hotels, but the room is clean, the bed is good and the location is perfect when you arrive by train. The only downside is that the windows let in a lot of light with the blind drawn and that they don't stop that much noise coming in from the street

They gave a smoking room without informing . Inspite of booking 10 days in advance when I reached at 8.00 pm I was given a smoking room . The room had mosquitos and the bedsheet and blankets all smelled of smoke . Only smoking rooms were left for the last ones to check in for the day . The floor was all dotted with burnt patches and the room looked very dirty and foul smelling . I asked for change but I got a similar room again . What the staff can do if the hotel policy is like that .

Very friendly atmosphere. The room was very net. I DID ENJOY THE BREAKFAST. Hope to visit you soon on my way to England. Keep it up . Would have been greater stay when parking had not been too far from the Ambiente.

Great place to see if you want to stay close to the main station and down town. Great rooms and really affordable. Staff went out of their way to help. I can recommend it 100%. It’s about a 15 min walk from the old historical center and you pass great shops and restaurants on the way.

I had very good stay at your hotel, the services are prompt and excellent. The staffs their are very professional and helpful. I'll surely patronize again and recommend for anyone anytime. Keep up the good job ACCORHOTELS.

The best bang for your buck when you require nothing but a simple room with basic comfort. The hotel is well-situated, near central station (and metro, tram). 15 minute walk to Meir (shopping), about 30 minutes to the historical centre. Good breakfast (elaborate buffet for 7,50), professional reception.

Ibis as always. Located right behind the train station and above public parking (18 euros per day if not mistaken) and supermarket. Unconvincing they don´t have a restaurant for snacks or even a bar at the hotel.

Excellent service at reception and at breakfast despite only one staff on shift at early start. Given hotel was full predominantly with cyclists doing the Tour of Flanders Sportive meaning they would all have an early start and require a decent breakfast perhaps it would be a good idea to have more than one staff member on shift in early hours of that particular day.

Stayed here with friends on a weekend visit to Antwerp. I was really impressed with the hotel. Rooms are small but have everything you need if you just want to sleep, shower then leave. Clean and tidy, comfy beds, with towels provided and shower gel. Will stay again

The girl at the reception during my check in was just amazing.. so friendly so helpful and she speaks many languages.. the rooms r very clean and modern ... bed linen are really comfortable and the hotel is 5mn far from the station

the hotel is near the central station, it is very convenient esp for the traveler who want to take the train to other city. although it is not located in the city centre, but it is easy to take train or bus to the city centre and meir street. although the room just have very basic facilities, the room rate is in good price

we asked arriving at reception for two joining rooms. They told us no problem but arriving at the rooms we noticed that the two rooms were on the same floor but at opposite sides of the floor. This was not the ideal situation for a family travelling together.

The receptionists were able to accommodate every need I had, and the 24/7 check in has been a added value. The room was silent, next to the train station, very clean. Hope that the price (56 euros per one night) would go a bit down
