Location is perfect in the Montmartre area of Paris. Metro is not far away, small groceries nearby, and a lot of eateries (international) are nearby. My only wish is for the front desk to greet guests as they come in.

Basic hotel, great location. The lobby gives you great expectations but you're soon brought down to earth once the elevator door opens. Great value though for what it is but personally wouldn't stay again.

If you want a drink find another bar as the one in the hotel is very poorly stocked and service was dire. If you book for breakfast be prepared to search for crockery and cutlery.. Good location close to several metro stations. Rooms are compact and clean but lack any coffee-making facilities

Well positioned hotel close to many of the favourite attractions in Paris. Used this hotel on many occasions for this reason. Always find the staff friendly and welcoming. Decent breakfast and the rooms are always clean with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in a hotel for quite some time.

The Ritz, it ain't! It's a very clean friendly good value hotel with very helpful staff. Didn't try the food offer which looked good value but the bar was nice as was the barman. Reception staff excellent and rooms very clean.

The room was exactly as seen in the photos...small but very modern and i believe recently renovated. The only think that they did not renovate was the bathroom which is not only small but it brings back something from the 80's. It's the first hotel I've seen that didn't change the towels every day and we only had 2 towels for the room which to me was unacceptable and i had to ask for more. However it as clean enough and the breakfast was amazing as was the reception and the waiting area. It was a very good quality for the money and i hope next time i visit they will have renovated the bathrooms too.

The first thing that hit my girlfriend and I when we entered our room was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It was absolutely disgusting. After a few days the smell faded, but to have that as the first impression of the room really wasn't on. During our first night, we were woken up at about 12:30am by a member of staff physically entering our room - without knocking - and then abruptly leaving. My girlfriend was terrified, as was I, because surely we're meant to feel safe in a room we've spent over €90 a night to stay in. The next morning I informed a lady on reception who didn't actually seem too bothered about what had happened. Really poor service there. On our second day, neither of our keycards were working for the room or for the lift. After a lot of faffing about, our keycards were eventually fixed. An upside to our trip was the lovely barman who gave us six free macarons on our final evening at the hotel. Other than that, there was pretty much not a lot else that was good about this hotel

Stayed five days at this hotel. Great service, value, location. near Metro 'Place de Clichy', Montmartre Cemetery, rue des Abbesses and its bar-restaurants. Will recommend Ibis Montmartre 18e. Will book again.

Wonderful location in Montmartre! Close to a few Metro locations, and overlooking the Montmartre cemetary (which I think is cool)!! Rooms are a little small, but that's more of a European standard. Great staff, and the breakfast look good (did not eat there myself).

We used the hotel basically as a landing pad for the night - didn't watch TV, didn't take advantage of the meal services, etc. Internet was fine, though we weren't streaming videos or anything requiring lots of bandwidth. The staff were quick to help when we did need a hand (unlocking the single bed/desk unit so we could have a place for the baby). Since we were assigned a room in the back, we were across from the Montmartre cemetery (i.e., possibly one of the quieter spots in Paris at night). That turned out to be an extra benefit when we discovered that we couldn't adjust the thermostat with any noticeable results, since the window did open and we could leave it that way without being woken by city noise. Drawbacks: the only drawback to the hotel itself was the thermostat which seemed to exist mostly to make you think you had power over the room temperature. The other drawback was that we walked there from le Gare du Nord, which means walking right past the Moulin Rouge area with all the sex stores and other related advertising. It is also a party area, which meant that we had to walk past some partiers when we were heading out early in the morning. We might stay again and just get a bus or taxi to skim past all of that.

Have stopped at this hotel many times while visiting Paris. It has never failed to satisfy. Facilities as one would expect in an Ibis. Staff were outstandingly helpful. I will be in Paris again in July/August and will definitely be using this hotel again.

Great position on edge of monmartre and pigale. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to rue haussman (shops). Very good value. Would definitely recommend. Only fault was breakfast a bit hit or miss and compared to local bars expensive.

poor breakfast , have seen much better ones in other Ibis hotels. the bathroom is old and the water pressure low, not continuosly having hot water, strange Taxi service where you have to ask a lot for a simple bill

Standard Ibis but with excellent public areas and breakfast room/food.Location excellent for the lively area of Pigaly. Metro stop ten minutes from Hotel.Hotel very close to bars and restaurants. Corcorans Pub across the road and take a left is a very good and cozy spot.

After our stay at the same hotel in February that was great, We had no hesitation to book there again. However we were very disappointed to find the standards had dropped. Some of the front of house staff give the impression they are doing a job they are too good for. The best and most helpful were the breakfast team, excellent as was the food. The welcome drinks we both enjoyed at Carlisle U/K.,and thought was a nice gesture. When we went to the bar in Paris we were told it was not a voucher for two drinks. only one for the card holder! Also there was no choice for a beer, just one I guess the cheapest !! with that voucher. If this is correct I would advise you not to bother with the drink as it is insulting to a couple. I had paid in full for my stay at the time of booking, therefore the invoice was closed, I then registered my credit card at reception to enable we to charge breakfasts or bar bills etc. this worked with the bar but not with breakfasts. I realised this was as good as it was going to get and decided to give up. The rooms and public areas were in need of a good clean, edges and corners appear to get missed whilst the centre of the rooms and the obvious areas were acceptable. This was very disappointing to us as we are making two visits a year to Montmartre, and found this hotel to be ideally situated for our purpose,(also had received excellent service earlier this year) are now seriously thinking of looking for somewhere else.

The hotel had too much noise during the whole night the staff do not advise people to respect the other hosts and don't do noises after 22:00 pm, the room was very old and had window broken that entered a very cold wind during the night.

The hotel offers all the basics but not a lot more. The location is convenient--only 5 minutes from the metro station at Place de Clichy. The rooms are tiny. They are very clean and have excellent wifi and a good shower. There is a decent breakfast but no restaurant. The bar offers drinks and snacks after 6 pm. At times the lobby had some fairly disreputable people hanging around and the management made no effort to ask them to leave.

Really good to walk up to the square where there are loads of restaurants in the Artists quarter. Hotels close to metro system at Clichy. Breakfast typical Continental Rooms fine. If you are worried about looking over a graveyard do not book this hotel

Corridors smelly, tiny rooms, bare minimum internals, folding outdoor chair, not even a box of tissues orovifed. Poor aircon barely copes. Nowhere to place luggage other than floor which is so small you cant navigate around bed. Not recommended.

it would be nice if there was a toilette brush in the bath, so that we did not have to use the shower head. Hand towels would have been nice too. It was also a sad site, that the staff did not realize that the Thermostat was brocken, and I had to mentioin it. Somethin like the thermostat should be relaized by the staff
