Job Summary:
Participate in the project planning and implementation of CRM. Assist in the integration of hardware, software and customer requirements by translating business needs into solutions available within the Microsoft Business Solutions modules, third party products, or I.B.I.S Inc modifications library. Perform routine operational and administrative functions for all phases of a project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigates, analyzes, and resolves business issues with selected software products.Â
- Researches solution alternatives by assembling, organizing, and summarizing findings. Briefs team on issues and proposed solutions.Â
- May lead departmental or small-scale projects (may supervise 1-2 consultants).Â
- Follows established implementation standards (Sure Step).Â
- Assists in developing test plans, task sheets and ensures solutions are tested and perform according to the specifications.Â
- Assists in preparation of client reports.Â
- Produces end-user and requirements documentation.Â
- Works with project leader to keep projects on schedule and recommend needed action to meet deadlines.Â
- Performs sales support on standard systems as directed by answering application questions, preparing packaged presentations, and running demonstrations.Â
- Works with Managing Consultants to identify medium and large size project requirements, gather data for specification preparation, and prepare labor time estimates.Â
- Leads user training of the new solution implemented within the client environment.Â
- Assists in the creation of the support (on-going maintenance) plan for the new solution.Â
- Provides input to the change management, issues tracking, risk management and communications plan for the project.
- Installs server and workstation application software and associated updates on various types of hardware.
Requirements:
- A minimum of seven years of relevant experience as software implementation consultant, in a consulting or internal support capacity.
- Knowledge of CRM, Microsoft Business Solutions core financials, one additional module, and implementation methodology (Sure Step).
- Knowledge of current I.B.I.S., Inc. products and services.
- Knowledge of basic sales techniques and practices.Â
- Skill in planning, organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks.Â
- Skill in understanding client needs and providing quality customer service.Â
- Skill in verbal and written communication:Â to analyze, interpret, and present client needs and technical product and service information.Â
- Ability to produce project deliverables (design, installation, documentation, reports, etc.) in accordance with Sure Step or equivalent project methodology.Â
- Ability to constructively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.Â
- Ability to follow project plans and requirements.Â
- Ability to effectively discuss portions of focus application features with clients.Â
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision.Â
- Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods of time.
Education and/or Experience:
The above knowledge, skills, and abilities may be demonstrated by a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related area and at least one year of experience in focus application and software implementation. Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above. Special emphasis will be placed on candidates with the following areas of knowledge:
- CRM
- Field Service
- Project Services
- Scribe InsightÂ
- Knowledge of .NET and/or web programming languages, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS
